    There was an apparently very inappropriate post in the "Stone Gossard..." thread on the porch. It resulted in that thread being closed which really sucks because it was as awesome as Stone, and Last-12 being banned. I know nothing else and this only came to my attention because the aforementioned thread got closed which bummed me out.

    That must have been a pretty outrageous comment.

    I don't understand why that Stone thread is closed. They deleted the inappropriate post, so not sure why they can't open it back up.

    I know what he said. It was a joke. Did he deserve to be banned, my opinion, no. It's a joke. I've seen wayyyyy worse on tv. That's all I'll say on this cuz I believe it's frowned upon to discuss banned members. Let's see what happens with last12 and hope it's something like a 2 week suspension, or 3 month max ban. Hope it works out for him, he's a real good dude.

    This is not a stupid question.. It's not one that a cut and dry answer can be given for. There are too many facets to cover even TRYING to answer that, and I have 3 years of psychology to my credit.. It's sickening and sad.. But very deeply expansive as for reason. To be quite honest, each and every murder, save for serial killings happens for a uniquely distinct and different reason, because they are committed by different people.

    Ha, I "tried" several times but couldn't come up with an answer. First, I wanted to just say "human nature", but that's not really fair. After reading your reply, I think I want to say "animal instinct". Still, not fair, but I think it covers the ground I want to cover. There has to be something in the brains of some that just cause them to snap.

    I don't know...I know what I want to say, but putting to words is tough.

    This is one of my pet peeves, as well as people who don't know the meaning of yield (the traffic sign, not the album).
