EdsonNascimento understands the reality of this situation... refer to Edson for a common sense explanation.
We get it. I don't think Pearl Jam really cares if all the stickers sell out or there are 200 stickers left over valued at $400 that cost them $20. All the stickers will sell even with a 10 sticker limit.
I was talking to you mcgruff.... hint of sarcasm back at you. hope you had a great show last night and sorry to see you didn't get your shirt... Im pretty sure I can help you out.
Honestly, I get both sides. I feel bad for those who want something and can't get it because flippers are buying 100s of stickers and making 10x profit on the bay. Some Euro stickers sold for over $100. Again, the problem is that you can only get these at shows. You have to trade for them if you want to complete the set. If you could buy them in the shop, just like posters, the problem would probably be gone.

Ten Club is a business, and is run as such. I'd expect this problem to continue for the rest of the 2014 tour (stickers are probably already printed?), and for the production run to be upped for the next tour. Ten Club wants to sell as much of everything they can, without any leftovers. 'Tis the goal of any business.
I was at St Louis, and there were still plenty of buttons left after the concert was over. So those looking for a $2 souvenir still had that option available.
I saw no buttons at any stand during Evenflow. In fact after the dude in front of me bought the last ten St. Louis shirts I circumvented the arena and saw zero stickers, buttons and St. Louis t shirts. And yes I walk fast.
Ha. I opted for my bathroom break during Even Flow, and had to go right past a merch table to the men's room (outside of 101). They had posters when I got inside at 6:30, but not during Evenflow. No stickers or event-specific shirts, but I'm pretty they still had buttons inside the glass cases at this point. It is possible I mistook the lapel pins for them, however.

So the best idea would be to put the merch booth inside the venue. Ticket owner will have the opportunity to buy merch. It will also mean that there will have probably such long line than you will have to choose between see the show or wait in line for stock. Wouldn't it be funny to see the band coming on stage with half the crowd ready to enjoy the show because the other half is waiting in line somewhere? And then, when you will have your 10 posters and 100 stickers, you will have to keep them with you, hoping no one spill their beer or puke on it. I think a limit of 10 stickers is enough but that's me.
I agree with the 10 sticker limit. I have bought stickers to trade and for friends from other countries before as well. But my god, 10 is well enough.
We haven't done it yet, but we are planning on framing our red LB together with all the stickers and tickets from the shows we went to last fall. No sticker album here. If I get my hands on a Detroit sticker, I will defo put it on my car.
And hell yeah, PJ_Soul is a wonderful person, stop with this attacking nonsense here.
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!
I was going to make a comment about how goofy sticker collecting is... but there's a falla sheep staring at me.
) This made me laugh!
I am sorry if I gave any impression that I thought PJ sticker collecting is somehow a negative - I don't think that! Here's to everyone having a smooth and simple time getting their keepsakes from the shows they go to. Also sorry for bringing any conflict. I blab... my opinions aren't personal; I just have a big mouth/poor filter. When I have something to do with personal conflict on these boards I feel bad. No matter what, I am pro PJ-fan. I hope I manage to convey how much I care about this little community we have here. :x

I waited in three different lines inside to try to get stickers from 630. I got nothing. The pins were unavailable. Posters were still available. The wings pins were available. That one is AWESOME btw. I'm so glad my winter coat has a lapel type collar.

im sure they are exceptional people.... Im sure you all are.
Actually... McGruff10 is an exceptional fan. Had the pleasure of meeting him briefly before Brooklyn 2 last year and he's been a long time positive influence on these boards. Mighty exceptional if you ask me.

So on behalf on the fans that lose their loved ones (I.e. Sons, wives, husbands, dads so far posted), you guys want the priority for the band to be supplying you with stickers to trade. Gee, do you think the band should put this higher priority than war, EB, song requests, or their families??
Maybe they could just make it rain stickers from the ceiling on the crowd during Encore 2.

Come on dude, really? Stickers have zero to do with anything you mentioned.
I think it would be appropriate to have Ed address the next crowd and talk about sticker etiquette. He could do it right after the time when he speaks about how fortunate the band has been over the years and segue into how unfortunate some fans are given they never got stickers.
I bet sticker hoarders would feel badly and offer one of their stickers to a fan standing next to them. Sure... there'd always be one or two that don't get the message, but the effort would be well worth it considering how many frowns Eddie could turn upside down.

again... im sure you are ALL exceptional. I too feel bad to be a part of conflict, as PJ soul said. and I too have no filter at times, especially if I feel insulted. I certainly don't enjoy confrontation over stickers. PJ Soul- if I had anything to do with you feeling like an apology/explanation, im sorry for that. I apologize as well, to whomever I offended. I believe these conversations would go a lot different if we were sitting at a table with pints of beer, maybe a doob or 2 of some fresh stank, like humans... anyone wana try it out?
