Who needs bootleg vinyl when you can have bootleg stickers!

Fake picks from Canada... Colored vinyl bootlegs from Europe... Why haven't the bootlegged stickers caught on?? Crazy money to be made in the $2 sticker black market??? :-?

Stickers already gone in St. Louis. (only 5 hours before show time).

Waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes in that cold wind sucked, but everything was in stock when I finally made it to the merch trailor at 5:30 pm last night.

I think they restocked a couple of times. You probably lucked out in that you got to the front right when they restocked.

Thanks to people like ss9981 and bootlegger. Without these types of forum mates I would not get the item that appeals to me. They save me spending a shit load on ebay to those 2 sellers that just seem to have ample stickers and buttons from every show from every tour. Sometimes because of where I live I have to resort to eBay. Massive difference for buying many to help forum members out versus the ones who buy to fund trips and when they have 50 listed on eBay at one time still have no compassion. My views. Later

Hear hear totally agree with everything you say. These pj members you talk about (as well as the numerous others guys and gals that help us out) deserve to be treated respectfully. I appreciate them going out of their way to help out fans in other countries. So we don't have to pay ridiculous ebay prices. They are not the ones making money out of PJ stickers, they are helping people around the globe. I've made some great friends from trading including ss9981, he has sent stickers to me without wanting me to pay or trade....that is community spirit. Thanks again Scott and all the other wonderful traders that have gone out of their way for me.
I think Ten club need to consider printing more stickers then we wouldn't have to worry about limits and it would stop people buying to sell on ebay.

I have only been civil here. Enough is enough. All I did was say that those people who buy up huge piles of stickers are denying other people at the show having any, so a maximum purchase limit would be great. How you escalated it to hurling personal insults is beyond me.

What do you mean? That was an honest question. I was wondering what people are doing with all these stickers - keeping them in photo albums is the only method I've ever be familiar with. I'm not sure why people took that question as an insult!

Pjsoul is a good person, stop making assinine accusations. People at the show should be able to buy merch, simple enough. I don't give a rats ass who you know or are going to meet on tour; there's a fine line between getting a sticker for your good friends and buying for the entire ga line or people you re going to meet. You want to trade to complete a collection? Cool. Collect what you want. But only buy enough to cover the current leg of the tour.

When someone buys 60 stickers in St Louis and then a "sticker and button pack" pops up on ebay minutes later for $50, it's time to scale back how many people can buy at once. It's fun to trade these things but c'mon people. 60 stickers? There are only 14 shows on the tour. How many do you need to trade? If you "need" that many stickers than maybe you should be allowed to buy 10 at one time and then if they are still available and you want to get back in line to buy ten more then go right ahead.

    This attack on PJsoul ..........wtf?
    Don't be an asshole.

I try to put myself in others shoes and I wonder what it would be like having 200 Pearl Jam stickers in my hand - How did I get these? I ask myself....

Regardless I am absolutely convinced that anyone who makes the sole decision to purchase bulk amounts of merch and leave the rest of PJ fans in the merch line empty-handed are assholes.

This thread may get locked but at least I want to post this - A flying in your face insult to PJsoul is not cool.

I have to say I enjoy getting a poster/sticker of the shows I have gone to and some great people have sent me stickers from other cities. Great people here no doubt. I think a 5-10 limit is fine. 25+ like others are saying is crazy.

I view the current sticker phenomenon to concert tickets under the old method where you lined up at a TM box office to buy tickets. You got there super early so that you could increase your chance to buy 2 or 4 tickets (there was a limit), and not buy ALL of the tickets. Getting to the outdoor merch tent first should reward you with better odds to get stickers and not the chance to buy all of them or a huge chunk of them.

Again, all for a 10 sticker limit that allows you to go back in line for another 10 if there are stickers left over.

I started this thread and I only wanted to raise this issue so that Ten Club would be aware of it. If they are fine with the way things are going, so be it. Didn't mean for anyone to throw around insults or have their integrity questioned. The people engaged in the discussion are probably not the problem here. Just want everyone to enjoy their PJ experience as much as I do, and maybe if this leads to Ten Club printing more stickers, great. I just know that if someone shows up to a show 6 hours before the show starts, they should get a darn $2 sticker. "They may say I'm a dreamer ..."

so be it. that's certainly not my issue. name calling solves nothing. looking at both sides objectively, i can appreciate how someone might have taken this the wrong way. i don't have a dog in this fight.

Fair enough, I don't either. For the record, in the name of fairness and being being cool to your fellow fan, I do support a limit on anything people are being greedy about.

I was going to make a comment about how goofy sticker collecting is... but there's a falla sheep staring at me.

There's a thesis waiting to be written on such behaviour. What compels us to buy Pearl Jam trinkets? Not only buy trinkets, but scratch and claw your way to do so and become enraged when failing to.

Ten Club is a business, and is run as such. I'd expect this problem to continue for the rest of the 2014 tour (stickers are probably already printed?), and for the production run to be upped for the next tour. Ten Club wants to sell as much of everything they can, without any leftovers. 'Tis the goal of any business.

I was at St Louis, and there were still plenty of buttons left after the concert was over. So those looking for a $2 souvenir still had that option available.

I saw no buttons at any stand during Evenflow. In fact after the dude in front of me bought the last ten St. Louis shirts I circumvented the arena and saw zero stickers, buttons and St. Louis t shirts. And yes I walk fast.

I think they should do presales for ALL merch like they did in 2009 for posters. Let us buy blindly. If you want more than 1 of each item, stand in line. For those of us that want souvenirs and want to enjoy the city or people around us, I think this is a great way to build community. I'm kinda bummed that I might spend 1/2 of my time in St. Paul and MKE waiting in a line for souvenirs. Yes, I know I don't have to, but I really like momentos.

I am part of this cabinet apparantely. I will outline my plan below.

    Current Lawless Approach:
    Ebayer sellers 100 stickers
    Traders 30 -60 stickers
Fans not at show but trading/buying 20-50 stickers
Common fan arriving at 5:30 wanting one sticker - zero

    My plan:
    Ebay sellers 10-20 stickers
    Traders 30-50 stickers
Fans not at show but trading/buying 20-40 stickers
Common fan arriving at 5:30 wanting one sticker - 1 sticker

I am waiting for the socialist attacks :)
