I know this is meaningless but thought I would see what the feeling is out there.
Would you like to have a lottery or not have a lottery for ticket selection.
To clarify, this is the lotto system to see if you get a ticket to the show not Row 1-2 or 9-10.

I really lucked out on the last tour with the lottery, but I think it's a fair system that lets people who usually have to watch from far away a chance to get up closer.

The lottery is the most fair method for the most people whether I win it or not. Lottery all the way.

Oh, and since mcgruff10 mentioned it, GA YEEEESSS!!! Love GA - so so fun! And allows so many more people to have the chance to get closer to the action. Praying that PJ never goes back to a seats in front of the stage. Doubt they will because they clearly enjoy the GA crowd in front of them more. :) Without GA, even with a lottery, a huge number of 10C members will NEVER get anywhere near the stage because of seniority seating, which doesn't seem fair to me.

I didn't vote. The amount of tickets the 10c gets access to every show is the same regardless of the distribution system. The two different methods generally mean that different 10c members benefit from the different systems, which might alter which fans get to go, but still results in the same amount of fans going, and the same amount of fans missing out....

I got tickets for Vancouver last year and missed out on Seattle.

If it's the lottery there are two tweaks I'd like to see:

    1) 1 draw per show. Include an opt out button for people that don't want GA. Splitting the shows into two draws causes some interesting dilemmas about how to split preferences, and situations where people could see two shows before someone sees 1 (IE instead of splitting your first two pref. for the same show, you choose resereved at one show, then reserved at another show). It didn't impact alot of people but I think 1 draw per show would be smoother

    2) Preferences should be for the whole tour on the continent. When they split N.A. into two, it gave people with the means to travel two #1 prefs which is kind of an advantage over people who don't have the means to travel, or just want to see their local show.

I think the lottery was pretty good, but I never missed out on F5, so it's wash for me. A few tweaks could make it better, but they aren't absolutely necessary.

GA, yes. But, I was taught along time ago that life is not fair.

    Down with the lotto.

Pj soul....I like ga but there way too many problems last tour. They need to tweak it. I really like the way Bruce handles the ga thing.

You mean the stupid line outside? I don't think 10C should even get involved in that. Not their problem. I think those who line up all day to get 3 feet closer to the stage pretty much deserve whatever gong show the line ups end up being. But I do like the Springsteen method. I just don't think that the idiots in the line ups outside should impact GA inside. 50 morons should make it so that thousands can't enjoy the pit? That seems really fucked up to me.

Well, still not fair at all, but the people with good numbers don't care about fairness for the most part. Whatever gets them the best seats as often as possible, and fuck everyone else. ;)

The lottery absolutely SUCKS when you request 2 shows and get shut out of both of them, while you have other people winning multiple shows. Either make it so everyone "wins" at least one show, or drop lottery altogether. That, is unfair. I got shut out last year while only requesting 2 shows.

I can't say I understand why people don't like GA, but in any case, it seem unlikely they'll drop it. They sell more tickets with GA. I'd say at least 1,000 more.

They can't make it so everyone "wins" one show, especially in high demand cities. They don't have the tickets to meet the demand. Would not matter how they do it.They tired saying for cities with more than one night you can only win one to help spread the tickets, about best they can do.

I say no lottery, especially as it was. I feel with 2 separate pools of GA vs Reserved really opened the door to provide an advantage to those who open multiple accounts and/or team with others. I have never, ever seen nearly this many people with "extras" peddling them. It also encouraged people to put in for more shows they wouldnt really intend on going to otherwise.

I've won one show out of three lotteries. But I was still at all the shows I wanted to see for face value. Ticket buddies are the best. :)

Lottery for sure. I was able to get front row at the Hartford concert. Eddie poured me some wine. Never had any luck with the old ticket process.

The best they can do, is get rid of the lottery.
