    Yeah I mean it'd be nice, but all I cared about was the bye. I've been saying this over and over since this format started - the payoff/reward for being the #1 seed in this sport is not great, juice is definitely not worth the squeeze.

    Tho in this situation they have a shot at not only the #1 but also best record in baseball so you get home field in the WS.

    I also don't think they should really rest guys, more specifically position players that is - pitchers should  definitely nurse those arms. 10 days off is way too long for meaningful ABs.

    Yeah. I think the 1 seed has made the WS once in the last 6 years in the NL.

    There's so many upsets in baseball playoffs nowadays, they could easily still host the NLCS as a 2 seed.

    What the fuck happened to Ranger Suarez? Dude's been horrible the past few months. Hopefully he doesn't start in the post season. Maybe bring him in just as a relief pitcher.

    I think it's his back, hasn't been the same since he tweaked it. He can't be any better than your #4 right now, and thank god for Chris Sanchez. Hopefully this break will help, I have to think it will.

    Everyone seems to want the Brewers? But I don't get it. Give me the Mets, always the Mets.

    Yes, awesome that series went to the 3rd game. Very Mets-ian way to almost be there then choke in the 8th inning.

    The intrasquad game was 5-5 yesterday. So hopefully they didn't forget how to hit. And Bryce's elbow healed some.

    Yeah I know YTTV has it with the Ticket, but that's because it's still somewhat predetermined, they basically offer you every combination (I think). But beyond that I've been waiting for it to be so you can choose any programs, and I think there's limitations in it since none of the hardware is local in your home.

    YTTV is like 72/mo and the Ticket is like $300-350 for the season, depending on when you get it with discounts. I had it last year but it was a complete waste of money for me. I barely get enough time to watch the Birds. I just get RedZone now for like $10/mo.

    No....it's different this year. As long as you are watching a non national game (or might be an out of market game) you can select individual games to add to the multiview and not be subjected to their preselected combinations. 



    edit--oh you mean just regular tv shows? yeah, I don't see that. I feel like at random times it gives you the option though.
