had to scalp for last nights show. did not win ten clubbers. was not a problem. plenty of seats available. left my stash in the car, walked back to get it, bought another ticket for $40 bucks to re-enter. My boy walked up and got a GA for face from a sweet ten clubber going alone. if you dont have tix, dont be afraid to go. they r available and reasonable

Nice job on the video. Eddie sounded great last night but you could really see how energetic the crowd was...and this was the opener! Just a taste. I think the small venue really added to this. Must've sounded great on stage.

Oh that wasn't me. I just found it on youtube already :)

I went to Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Both were great, but man, I wanted last nights set list!

Unreal, this band never disappoints. After all these years they still fuckin' bring it and mix it up to keep the entire experieince fresh. Wow. Loved the stage set up & new lighting.

To start- the bars in Worcester were absolutely packed, we tried to get in a few places but it was 6 deep an fuckin' nutty with the ball game on. Saw Napoli's homer at Uno's, finally able to squeeze in, a guy we met bought us a pint just by virtue of his location on a bar stool. The Sox 1-0 win seemed to electrify the start of the show. Ed mentioned the Red Sox numerous times, he was at game 2 and called David Ortiz GOD after Home Run "miracle".

Boston (Worcester) almost always seems to get Release and we love it. The opening 3 songs gave me fond memories of past shows. The acoustics were absolutely incredible, this venue has always been impressive for the sound quality. Ed called it "cozy". The band sounded so tight- new and old material. So many highlights i can not begin to mentioned them all here. Leash was amazing. The sit down set was a great touch and gave everyone a breather. Fatal was tremendous. MYM, Sirens and Yellow Moon are winners, those songs will have legs for sure. Another marathon of a show. I thought the entire Vibe was impressive, a lot of communication between the band and the crew, mixing the set list up and so forth. During Alive the bands personal security seemed to be getting anxious and running around there was something going on, Ed seemed to be waving off any intervention.

Many thanks to the Ten Club again, 1st row on the aisle - Stones side on the corner. We could not ask for better seats. Another incredible experieince. This fan club is amazing. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. I can't make it but for those going Tonight...Enjoy.
  • My 20th PJ Show. First time hearing Leash & Fatal. Amazing show. Amazing crowd. (My hometown)
Release into Long Road was unreal. Just Breathe and Unthought Known were highlights for me. Alive was SO loud.
Ed was having a blast. Can't wait for tonight.

Love this band and it's fans!

    Quick thoughts:

Courduroy was one of the best I've heard.

The tempo to MYM was unreal. Matt is a force!

All songs off the new album sounded tight. Personally love Let the Records Play. Hope to hear Getaway tonight.

    LEASH!

"You want to hear Red Mosquito?"

    Great time in the pit.

And although I've heard it 20 times lives, Even Flow still gets me jumping! Mike's simply a beast.

    Encores were just ridiculous.

Hope to see you all again tonight!

Pick up at the box office, each window has different letters for last names.
I showed up at 7pm and walked right in. No lines for me to get tickets or entry.

  • So many thoughts, still buzzing in my head.. about 12 hours since the show ended but I'm still in 'concert-mode'!

We got there at 4:30ish, and no merch lines - the poster is probably not as awesome as the Pittsburgh one, but I love the tshirt!

I'm kinda glad they're playing at the DCU versus the Garden - it makes for a more intimate, close-in atmosphere. I gotta say though, the crowd was at full volume last night and would have certainly rocked the Garden too.

Release!! So happy to hear it, I'd been humming it just about all day before the show, and when Eddie started into it the waterworks just started, I'll admit it.

Lots of energy in the building. The place was hopping. Absolutely loved it, so many people from so many places, different races, varied ages.. all brought together by their love for PJ, and PJ's love for their fans.

10C seats - my # is 497XXX so I wasn't expecting much, but we were second row of seats right behind GA, which weren't really great as the seats are not on a riser and there was always a line of people lined up against the back of the GA section. Still, it was nice to be on the floor and hear the sound and crowd all around us.

Fatal? Red Mosquito? Long Road? Man of the Hour? We felt honored to be there as they delved deep into the catalog. Last night was such a fantastic setlist, how will they top that tonight? What gems are they going to unearth?! I can't wait!!

This was my fifth show, and the wife's first - we've always loved PJ and our love is even further affirmed now. Truly the greatest band in the world.

So that is why we are playing so long tonight because we probably won’t be back for about ten years because now we are going to play in “Vietnam, Mongolia-(continues to list countries)

Loved the show, but man I missed not having 10c tix. Really looking forward to that tonight, because my section was terrible last night. Constant stream of people coming and going for beers during every single song that wasn't on Ten. And the kid behind me actually wanted to fight me because I didn't want to sit down at a Pearl Jam show.

But I loved the setlist and got a bunch of decent video, which is on its way up here:

What time did they come on?
  • You could see Ed giving high 5's and thumbs up to the guys after Corduroy. He was clearly pleased with the jam at the end and the crowds appreciation.

Nice to see them have so much excitement at an older song that they've played hundreds of times.

    Amazing show.

Unfortunately, there were to real sad excuses for PJ fans beside/behind/on top/in front if me throughout the show. Very belligerent, sloppy, disrespectful and it was weighing on those in the immediate area. Fists were nearly thrown at one point between one of them and a fan who had his tolerance pushed to the edge. Unfortunate that these two selfish people could have a ripple effect on 6-8 people around them. It was a woman in an army green coloured Easy Street Records shirt and a dude in a red 2005 Canadian tour tshirt. I highly doubt either of them are on this forum (or can even read) but if you are, your actions were childish and disrespectful and you should be ashamed of yourselves. I digress.

Agree. They were very disrespectful. The guy wanted to fight someone because his girlfriend lost her balance and fell.

Yeah that would be my only complaint of the evening u could not hear stone at all and he had some solos that were semi wasted by lack of volume, hope they fix it for night 2!

I just wanted to maybe "offset" a couple of the comments above about this show.

I'm only at 50-, so perhaps you can take this with a grain of salt, but there was nothing "off" with that setlist - that setlist was AWESOME.

Yes, they didn't "cover" I'm the Ocean, and no Strangest Tribe, but that was special.

Eddie was on from the moment he stepped to the mic. Mike killed the first half, and was only "de-throned" in the second half because that belonged to the band. The new stuff was absolutely perfect, and Stone f*#king rocked Sonic Reducer.

To be honest, the band seemed like they had more fun than anyone else in that entire place (which is saying alot, because that place was filled with people who loved that show).

In the end, the only thing missing from that setlist was night#2..., and if the first show is any indication, we're in for a f*#cking treat.

Great writeup. All true. The energy and passion was felt throughout the night. Never have screamed out lyrics that loud in my life and it felt great!

And Fatal, NAIS, Swallowed Whole, sonic reducer?
    Insane setlist!

What. A. Show. Energy was unbelievable, setlist was great, place was packed. Highlights for me were definitely the double opener of Release into Long Road, NAIS, Man of the Hour, Fatal, and the epic Boom-Mike dueling bit during Crazy Mary. Band seemed rested after a couple days off and really brought it. Wish I was going again tonight, but I don't know how they are going to top this one.
