PEARL JAM
LONDON, ONTARIO. CA.
JULY 16, 2013
Budweiser Gardens
SET LIST

01. Present Tense
02. Nothing Man
03. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
04. London Calling-(Jones, Strummer)/Corduroy
(band plays verse music while Ed sings “London Calling” a few times rather than actual lyrics. Corduroy bridge is rearranged slightly)

05. Mind Your Manners (new song from “Lightning Bolt”)
06. Got Some
07. Given To Fly
08. Sad
09. Alone
10. Even Flow (instead of “never vote republican” Ed says something about Chelios)

(Ed reminisces about touring Canada with Mudhoney and how great it was.. When driving into London for this show he remembered everything about the city. He jokes that while looking up facts about the city he saw a wi-fi network called “Dundas Hookers On Crack” which he thought “London is keeping their sense of humor until he went walking around the hotel and thought there might be something to it. He goes on to say that while Stone was out for a run around the city a guy began smashing a phone against a phone booth while he went past. “This next song is for all the Dundas hookers on crack”.)

11. I Got Shit
12. In Hiding
13. Lukin
14. Not For You/Modern Girl-(Sleater Kinney)
15. Black
16. Porch (light globes come down from the lighting truss and Ed swings on one a bit.)

Encore Break: Ed introduces the band. “We don’t have to work tomorrow so I will have to check but I think we can stay as late as we want to tonight here in the lovely ‘Budweiser Gardens’. Shit beer but a good building.”

17. Last Exit
18. Last Kiss-(Cochran) (played to audience behind the stage. Matt plays a cocktail kit facing the back and the rest of the band joins him there.)

(For this part of the show the guys sit down closer together. The band has a new stage set up and lighting rig. During the first encore a giant “chaos bird” that appears to be made of scrap metal with lights strung throughout it descends from the truss to hang just above the band. There are orange lamps all over the stage and larger globes that descend and rise into the lighting truss. )

19. Parachutes
20. Man Of The Hour
21. Just Breathe
22. Daughter
23. Unthought Known
24. Do The Evolution

Encore Break 2
(Ed re-introduces Jeff and Stone who have switched instruments. He thanks the audience for remaining friends in the seven years since the band has played here)

25. Smile

Ed talks about his hockey playing friends here tonight Tie Domi and hall of famer Chris Chelios. He also dedicates the next song to the “guy in the yellow shirt from Denmark for coming all the way out here and requesting a good song”

26. Brain Of J
27. Better Man
28. Alive
29. Rockin’ In The Free World-(Young)
30. Indifference

Sorry for posting, as I didn't attend, but speaking of Crackheads, Ed, I miss the Bob Probert vs. Tie Domi brawls.

I had a great time tonight. The band was a little loose, but the set really overcame that. MYM was great live abs should sound even better when audiences get to know it more. 15 shows before i got Alone, but it was worth the wait.

86 days until my next show!

Great show....woulda liked to hear some other new stuff, but wow, great show. A few flubs, especially in daughter, but a great setlist, never seen nothingman so early in the set...the new stage stuff looks good (the bird and globes are cool) and mym sounded great live. The altered corduroy was cool too, excited to hear it on the bootleg. Thanks OJ for hitting my hometown, thanks to all the cool US fans I met. I bet wrigley is in for something special!!!

Fantastic show, I love the new stage with the glowing balls and the thing that looked like a bird's nest and is actually made from metal pipes an scraps, when lowered during the intimate songs gave me the impression that the stage was transformed into a porch in the deep south of USA, I could imagine the seating area in front of the stage as a bayou.

The set list was great, the band sounded awesome.

Also have to say we are really enjoying Canada, wonderful people. We spent two days in Niagara before coming to London today.

    On to Chicago!

Awesome show! Great set list and great energy from the band. They played about 2 hours 40 minutes and I'm pretty exhausted. Mind your manners seemed to catch on with the crowd quickly and sounded great.

Great hearing Present tense as an opener and Indifference as a closer. Awesome hearing Alone and Sad, and Man of the Hour. The new lights were cool and Eddie was swinging on the ropes holding the light

Overall awesome show, kicked my ass, now I'm beat! So glad I was able to go

Lucky people at this show! Wow!
That sit-down set sounds like it was cool.

I am slightly heartbroken that they played Parachutes and Smile AND Alone AND Sad, since it's unlikely that they'll play those again Friday. Oh well, maybe next time.

Great set! Alone, Sad, Present Tense, and Parachutes were my personal gems. MYM was great, and I think it will get even better...they should let Mike have a little more solo time on that track! Stone seemed more energetic too, which was good to see.

Pretty standard set though really, didn't know if we'd get a preset or a long 35 song set, but pretty standard in that regard. Hopefully saving their energy for Friday!

sorry but i have to say the performance was great as ed was in very fine form, but it was hyped an evening with pearl jam and with the amount of fan club members in attendance i was really expecting a set list containing more rarities and songs not played often. it was a real opportunity to do so. that would have been special. 2 gems alone and parachutes. lots of every tour regulars. just thought too many.

One HELL of a show. I'm now lying in bed with my dog Eddie...perfect end to a perfect night. ;) Highlights:

    - MYM kills live
    - the transition from Alone -> Even Flow
    - Black: phenomenal version of a song I don't generally like
    - Porch: phenomenal version of a song I generally do
    - Brain of J. Given to Fly. Do the Evolution. In Hiding. FTW.
    - two Daughters!
    - that second encore...man...
    - RitFW. Every night. Fine by me.
    - crowd was incredible and LOUD
    - I'm so happy
    - See you Friday!
