And I'm not trying to get on Fixer's case and to be honest, lately I've been welcoming his Howard Hatred because it's one thing to play below the standards of your contract, it's a whole other thing to suck as bad as Howard has this year (and will for the rest of his career presumably). But when you choose "The Fixer" as your username, your opinion of Pearl Jam's music can't be taken too seriously. It's the bottom of the PJ barrel.

    Agreed. We've been through this man. When the site changed and the old names got jacked I picked the fixer before hearing the song (when the new album came out and the track list was released).

    Nothing clever about it. Ledbetterman10 was my aol IM username when I was like 15 and I've kept it. And I'm not sure what you mean about old names getting jacked when the site changed. I was able to keep mine. And I can get picking The Fixer as username and then regretting it after hearing the song. I'm sure somewhere there's a Star Wars nerd that made a JarJar username and wasn't too happy with his choice after seeing Episode 1. But you can understand that without knowing that you picked it without hearing it, people would assume it's your favorite song and thus any criticisms of any other song would be moot.

    Why not release the album in September to give people some time with the album before the tour starts up? I never got releasing it at the same time.

    Also, in case anyone was wondering, do not hit the submit button more than once when shit is all busy.

    oh i thought you were just trying emphasize your point. no?

    the more i listen, the more i like it. kinda has a vitalogy but with more metal feel to it..i just think it's kind of an odd choice for the 1st single. i can't imagine any fringe or non fans liking it much. i've already gotten a few texts from people telling me they were let down by it. :lol:

    hopefully they put out the 2nd song by the end of the summer and play a few new ones in wrigley.

    brooklyn shows are friday/saturday. I'm already checking out stubhub. Brooklyn is cool, but I'm bummed they're not playing MSG...aka, the best concert venue on earth. I love that place.
