Cool, in more my desperate moments I was thinking of cutting myself to pieces and asking each of you to smuggle part of me in... handbags would have come in very handy!! ;)

Why not adopt my idea...which I won't be forced to perform now. Cover yourself in wet shit outside the venue and then rush the bouncers???

Nah... not yet I'm afraid... the soap opera is still running......!! waiting to hear from two gumtree contacts, ebay is just crazy, I'd pay for two tickets if I thought someone was willing to pay as much but don't wanna pay for two and then subsidise someone else... :(

Laugh all you want but it's really not funny. Some people do ACTUALLY want to go and some are prepared to pay that amount of money. It sickens me that people will do this (sell them for that price I mean) :(

I just read this thing on the meanfiddler site re: touts on online auctions - they say they are doing what they can but basically it is not illegal to do so. It would seem they are trying to work with ebay, etc. to stop this kind of thing.

How far is this place from the Astoria - just booked a room as so many others seem to be staying there! Will be checking in around 3.30pm if anyone else is planning on heading to the George from there!

Also, any Newcastle Pearl Jam fans heading down on the Thursday morning National Express bus?

I'm sure its about a mile or so... 15-20 mins walk... 30-40 mins stagger :)

hopefully i'll be checked in by then and at the pub but i'm sure there are loads on this thread checking in and around that time.
