This thread is like an endless game of Tic-Tac-Toe... except you only get to use 2 Xs or 2 Os.
    ...
But, I do admit... reading some the points people are trying to make... and especially the analogies and 'facts'... are quite entertaining.

guess i need a firearm or shoulder fired rocket cause they've banned me like 3 or 4 times and i have always considered myself a very pleasant contributor to these here parts. that's it... i'm off to rutledge, missouri flea market dog and gun exchange.

at rutledge you can see women with blood hounds & coon hounds on leash with a rifle over her shoulder, barefooted and she'll be havin a face fulla chewin tobacco.

i am positive anyone can go to these kinds of events and purchase automatic weapons all day long if you find the right seller and you're a good ol' boy.

"badges? we don't need no stinkin badges" - some movie...

like that about licenses... licenses? we don't need no stinkin licenses. we got uzis, mach 10s, .38s, 25-25s, we got ak-47s up the wazoo 48 to be exact... and we got whiskey and a brothel down the way next to outhouse row

Dave Mustaine -- the lead singer of Megadeth -- believes Barack Obama "staged" the massacre in Aurora, CO in a sick, twisted plot to pass a gun ban.

Mustaine made the comments on stage at an August 7 performance in Singapore ... when he told the crowd, "Back in my country, my president ... he's trying to pass a gun ban, so he's staging all of these murders, like the 'Fast And Furious' thing down at the border ... Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there ... and now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple."

He continued, "I don't know where I'm gonna live if America keeps going the way it's going because it looks like it's turning into Nazi America."

Obviously, Mustaine is not an Obama fan ... and recently bashed the President during an interview with Alex Jones ... saying, "With all of the proof about his birth certificate being fake. And you see the signs in Kenya that say 'the birthplace of Barack Obama.' Hello?! C'mon, guys. How stupid are we right now?"

Amazing. From Obama saying there would be nothing done on gun control right now he got "I'm banning guns." what country do these people live in? How do they become so paranoid?

I love Dave Mustaine and his political views but he's way off on this one...this sounds so nutty. I betcha he wouldn't say this in this country to an American audience he would or should get booed right off the stage even though I like him very much.

my personal belief is that if any entertainment is partly to blame for real violence in society, and I don't know that I agree with that, is video games. Movies are something you watch. Video game violence is something you CONTROL. You are IN IT. I can see that taking a toll on a young impressionable brain. Especially when you hear of people playing these army games for days on end with headsets and all that stuff.

But I think it goes way deeper than that.
