4 games in a row w/ a goal for Altidore. So huge to get all 9 points out of these last 3 matches.0 -

They looked fantastic the last 30 minutes. I am dieing to see Donovan and Bradley in the middle together.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0 -
I feel like the US finally has a squad with some depth. The game last week they did fine without Jones, last night they did ok without Beasley. And they are doing fine without Donovan. I think Klinsman is doing a decent job at challenging them all and getting them ready for games. All these "new" guys are doing great, I am still learning their names!Post edited by rick1zoo2 on0

Agreed. What a difference a month can make. Dramatic improvement everywhere. Defense is still a little shaky bit getting better. That should be the last time they play in Utah. Damn sober Mormons were quiet as hell. Dempsey was even yelling at them to get off tbeir hands.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0 -

I was at Logan and was at Legal before I boarded and saw the kickoff. Got off the plane in Philly, looked at the scores and it was 10-0. Brutal0 -
Nigeria vs Uruguay a much closer match 1 - 2 in the second half0
-
Spain vs Italy
Italy looks very good so far0 -
that was an exhausting game yesterday. and a shitty way to end a game - on penalties. Too bad for Italy, they looked very good for most of the game, they attacked well in the first half, and defended well in the second. Overtime just looked like two tired boxers slugging it out in the 15th round, neither one willing to give up, but not having enough left to finish it.
Should be an interesting match up for the final on Sunday: Spain vs Brazil0 -

I agree totally, pks never a good way to decide a game. Play until someone scores. Last team standing deserves to win. Played soccer 17 years and never thought its a good way to end a game. But Spain/brazil neymar vs his new teammates, gonna be fun to watch on sun!0 -
Here we go. This is going to be awesome.0
