Dempsey to Seattle? Pretty cool considering this is likely his last World Cup. If he were younger I'd want him to stay in Europe but being the tail end of his career, it'll be nice for US fans to be able to see him regularly

Yeah, pretty shocking move there since Dempsey always talks about how he wants to play in the top leagues in the world. But good for him and great for the MLS.

Holy shit. I left work and we're down 2-0 at half....get home and US wins 4-3. Jozy with a hat trick....that dude is on a fucking tear right now. Can't wait for WC qualifying to start back up!

Incredible. I had a meeting at 4 and the first two goals happened just before I had to leave my desk. Came back to a win. Incredible, incredible win being down 2-0 to a good team half way across the world on their turf.

The first two goals say yes. That free kick was sick. Man I can't wait to see this team with all their horses on the field at the same time.

  • Should be a wild atmosphere in Costa Rica tonight. They are still pissed about the snow game in Colorado a few months back. There were fans waiting at the airport to harass the US team and I guess they were throwing eggs at their bus too. Crazy.

Anyone know of a good stream for this beIN sport channel that the game is on?? My cable company doesn't even offer that channel unfortunately. It's brutal how hard it is to watch these WCQ games that are on the road.

Sept 9 (Reuters) - Awarding the 2022 World Cup to Qatar may well have been "a mistake", FIFA president Sepp Blatter said for the first time on Monday.

  • Looking forward to tomorrow night vs. Mexico. It's going to be tough with Bradley's injury as well as the 3 guys who are out due to yellow cards. The yellow that Altidore picked up real late vs. Costa Rica was so dumb.
  • we need to win tonight..so important game

Pretty pumped for tonight. Regardless of Mexico's issues, not going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination. A bit short handed.
  • Can't wait for tonights USMNT game. Playing Mexico in a qualifier at home in C-bus is always exciting. To knock Mexico further into a tail spin would be that much better!

    US 2-1

How many points do we need to get in?
  • A win for England tonight pretty much sees us through and I can book my flight to Brazil :D Although I expect Ukraine to be very tough.

    We as in the US?

If the US wins tonight and Panama loss or tie to Honduras, then USA is going to Brazil.

  • Amazing night for u.s. soccer. Dos a cero! It is key that they continue to win and get a good ranking now. When they have their full lineup in they can hang with anyone.

  • Can't believe there was no talk in here about that U.S. win over Panama. What a wild night that was...and of course we help Mexico stay alive. :fp: If roles were reversed, is there any way Mexico tries to score to keep the U.S. alive??

Yet we focus on how 'Uhmerica is so racially divided ... Even though our racist capitalistic national team, the redskins, have a QB that tops the nation in sales in jerseys ...
