An insight to hunting - what a load of crock. I thought this was going to be something informative not Nugent trying to justify himself again. So... he equates someone eating a salad to mass killers - worse than him who kills wantonly to have a trophy. More rubbish coming out of his mouth.
The motive behind big game 'hunting' is always wrong. It is not to survive, it is not to eat - it is for pure 'thrill' and twisted satisfaction from the hunter. It's a game for him/her with, at the end, some kind of trophy to 'prove' something. Now, if this hunter would like to take on a bear, face to face, with no 'artifacts' (ie, gun, knife, etc.) that would be a different story. But we know these 'hunters' would never do this....
I am not against big game hunters, I do not hate them,
so you and I will have to agree to disagree on that.

Hunting is indeed killing big game also Chad. You and I may not like it nor would consider doing it ourselves but others do and they are not bad people because of it.

i can and do stick up for those whom cannot defend themselves; animals, fish, trees or what have you. i would love to blow up a piece of logging equpiment. i learned about forestry and other environmental sciences in college. why? because i love the earth and wildlife, why? because it is natural and free and needs help before stupid ass human destroy everything. have you ever gotten off your chair to learn something and to defend a critter that is gunned down for its hide and tusks and whatnot?

nope i've never been to his house...bear is considered very edible...as for zebra and wolf i don't know...but he has stated in the past that his meat is not wasted...but I'll bet you plenty of people cook up animals and don't finish what they cook and toss in the garbage...
