Might as well get this started...less than 2 weeks away from the fun...as a Canadian it is very disheartening that only 2 of seven teams have a shot at the cup...possibly 1 by the time the playoffs start.

my early prediction is Vancouver vs.Pittsburgh final.

    Bruins fan here. Not feeling great about my team going in - 2nd round exit is my guess.

    I got Penguins over Predators in 6 games.

    The east is going to be rough, Pitt/Philly first round ifit ended today woudl be a good one, unless then Pens keep playing like they did the last couple days

    I also think buffalo beats the Rangers in Round 1 if that is the match up. If the Sabres catch Ottawa, and play Boston, that is an intriguing series. Or the Sabres might not make it. Lots o' possibilities.


    We need to start another one of those fantasy playoff pools on ESPN like we did last year.

    this is the best thing about hockey ... i think every team that makes the playoffs can make a run ... i will cheer for the teams based on who i get in the playoff pools ... :lol:

    The fun begins tonight...Pittsburgh vs Philly should be a great series.

    Hoping Vancouver can do what they didn't do last year...finish it this time.

    Nashville vs Detroit should be good series...I think Nashville takes the series.

    I didn't factor in many upsets this year, as it's basically gonna be 1-6, 2-4/5 in the second round.

    I gave them love a couple years back and they lost to Chicago. I still like them, but without Pronger and solid goaltending between the pipes, I foresee a struggle to make it past the first round. Though if they did continue, I wouldn't be wholly opposed to it. I learned all the words to God Bless America during their last run, and as a Canadian, I have no use for that knowledge outside of the playoffs.
