  • I have no problem with anyone dropping out, it's why I posted it. Perhaps you should read what I posted underneath the meme. Tsk Tsk, so over-reactionary

of course I read what you wrote. but you obviously posted it for a reason.

Of course, the part at the bottom. That he charges charities when he speaks. Sounds like socially conscious doesn't it? I mean, that's not capitalist in anyway right?
He is going to help the ones who need it by giving a speech, and then running off with money donated to help the less fortunate. Sounds like real change

again, you forget that I have mentioned several times that I am not an anti-capitalist. and you can cherry-pick all the propaganda you wish, but it doesn't change anything.

if you want this country run by a union, have at er. talk about wasting taxpayer's money. sheesh.

new album "Cigarettes" out Spring 2025!

Kind of how I picture most of the posters on this thread

Damn it. Dragged into the mud again.

Have you thought for a second how you are coming across on these boards?

Now that you have figured out how to do it... post all the goofy pictures of Trudeau you want. Speaking for myself... it doesn't move me in the slightest.

Do you want a rebuttal of Harper memes- there's plenty of them? I thought you were a really gifted and talented drop out that was demanding serious discourse? I'm confused by your behaviour. I'm starting to think you are part of a sociological experiment designed to test patience levels. I mean... who acts like this? Seriously?
Let me answer these questions one at a time.

    1) I have thought of how I am coming across on "these boards". I am trying to get around the emotion and focus on the fact that, all these leaders are garbage and it's going to be shitty if any of them win a majority. Do I care if you like my position? No, not really.
    2) I knew how to post goofy pictures a long time ago, I mean.. Go through the thread history.
    3) Harper memes are great! Couldn't find one that correctly captured my opposition to C51, so the Snowden quote worked. (Once again, I'm not a Harper supporter)
    4) oh I'm gifted, but I also have a sense of humour :smirk: Have a look on the floor or in the backyard, looks like you lost yours somewhere. The "serious discourse" just was not happening. Since this is seemingly a cut and paste thread, I though I'd throw material out a little easier to digest.
    5) The last question puzzles me, it really is not hard to test the patience of people who lean heavily to the left in political ideology. If someone doesn't agree with you, 100%, they are wrong.
It insults my intelligence. Continually accusing me of lacking a social conscious, who acts like this?
    6) seriously

I just care to say this:

Narcissism can be a good thing for narcissists. They are always awesome when other suck.

    For example:

    - Opposed to bums taking a free ride... no problem taking one themselves.

    - Mocks others for 'dropping out'... a drop out themselves.

    That is all.

    See where my confusion lies?

One moment your calling me an idiot and throwing personal shots around (prompting the last post of mine which obviously made you look like a shiny emerald)... the next time you're calling for advanced and intellectual debate on party policies.

Geez, man. Quit shifting at random times from personal shots (like mamby pamby leftists, idiots, etc.) into introducing stimulating items for thought such as your assorted array of awesome memes. It's hard to know exactly what you want at any given time.

Really. So you and thirty could give Harper credit for anything positive his government has accomplished in the bast 8 years?
Because all I have read is Harper bashing. Seems everyone is pretty set in their ways. I merely attempted to add objectivity to this thread.
And because of all of you and the CBC, I actually despise Turdo. (Not to mention what his dad did to Alberta with the NEP in the 80s).
All I have read is why NOT to vote for Harper. No reason WHY I should vote for anyone else.
No substance. The Liberal platform is spend spend spend and I see little value in any of it.

You have yourself a wonderful day, and the fact is you were never very relevant to anything going on anyway. Happy voting!
Lucky for me, being very relevant to what is going on in this thread is not a goal of mine. I have no idea what your goal is... but i assume it's to irritate people.
I believe (actually I know) I have stated unequivocally that my goal was to bring objectivity to this thread. Outside of pjfanwillneverleave. No one was giving Harper an ounce of credit.
It was simple conservative bashing and I couldn't allow that to continue unabated.
You see, politicians at the federal level have to make some tough decisions, and they are not always good and never unanimously accepted by the electorate.
Harper has irritated me with some of his decision making, his reclusiveness (like Axl Rose is our PM sometimes) and Bill C-51.
But he has done some really good things. Forgiving Haiti's sovereign debt to Canada is 2010 was an amazing humanitarian accomplishment. We should all be proud as Canadians we have given that nation a chance to get back on its feet.

But no one here wants to admit his government has accomplished anything, because it does not align with their agenda, which is Anybody But Harper.

You have a right to feel the way you do, but I also have a right to state my opinion. The fact you are irritated is because you realize that mixed in with my antagonistic approach (did not come without provocation) there are some valid points.

Plus, it's ok to hate Harper but not Trudeau around here. I'm the voice of reason

With that day off......did that someone also put up some signs?

    http://daveberta.ca/2015/10/paranoid-election-signs/

Paranoid election signs attack Liberals, NDP and Mainstream Media
  • Pearljamwillneverleave hasn't been here all day. Must have been him that Conservstive capitalist pig!

Don't completely agree with the sign. Libs or NDP won't destroy Canada.
The mainstream media however, is a joke. Lead by the irresponsible journalism of the CBC
