Santorum wants to ban hard-core pornography

the people responding have acknowledged the "trash, garbage, not for me"
of hard corn porn yet defend because of fear ... fear of loss of rights when actually
it would be exercising the right to say no to a society that is based in devaluing the life
of another human being, based in degradation and the grotesque violence of women and children.0 -

I guess I had better throw away a lot of good movies. My favorite, Saving Private Ryan is done, it's brutal, and shows slaughter. Better throw away my Pearl Jam records... Some of the songs degrade the Iraq War, politicians, etc. I had better kiss that movie The Patriot goodbye. It's pretty brutal, I mean, a head gets blown off.
Or maybe I just missed the sarcasm.
was it a character we cared about or just some random soldier? ... and was he a confederate or a yankee??... that can make all the difference.
You had me until the Patriot.
But that's another thread all together.live pearl jam is best pearl jam0 -

What is everyone talking about? It doesn't make sense to compare shows and movies to violence-themed porn. 99% of the shows on TV and most movies too that address criminal violence address it in the context of STOPPING it and how atrocious it is, not encouraging it. That is not the case with rape porn, etc. But anyway, I think that someone who would rape someone or kill someone or whatever would do it regardless of what media they watched. If it wasn't a movie or violent porn that encouraged then it would be something else (I would like to Pontiac out that beastiality porn is not technically legal now, as the acts are considered animal abuse in most states). I still think the focus on whether or not porn is something to defend should be on the real human beings that it harms - the actual actors in the porn. Someone said that's not relevant to this discussion, butler I think it is if we're discussing whether or not people are negatively impacted by it.With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

Ha it's about the American Revolution. A Continental Army soldier got his head ripped off by a cannon ball and another soldier gets his legs taken out in the same scene.
oh of course it was. beg my pardon at the sudden brainfart. still.. was it a random soldier?

Sorry... I haven't had time to wade through this whole thread.
All I can say is that first...
THIS LINK MAY CONTAIN NSFW PICTURES..

So now that we've gotten that out of the way...
Porn will always be legal, we're the whole reason that the internet exists.0 -
PJ_Soul wrote:Would just like to point you all back to my post about the porn industry - there are things to consider besides the "morality" of porn. Things that I think are more important... There are terrible things going on the porn industry that are harming human beings... until those things are fixed, porn should be considered carefully by those who choose to watch. For me it has nothing to do at with what is portrayed in porn (couldn't care less about that). It's what's actually happening to the real people who are working in the porn industry.
OK... I'm a real person working in the porn industry and I can tell you that I saw a LOT more sexual harassment, drug abuse, sexism, corporate greed and under-handed business practices when I had a corporate job in purchasing.
The stories that most people run around telling about the porn industry are mostly made up, exaggerated to absurdity or very isolated.
I love my job, I would have no other job and I can tell you that I treat all of my stars with the upmost of respect. Your name is all you have in this industry and if word got out that I treated anyone badly, I'd have trouble getting people to work for the studios that I work for again.
So please... don't believe that we're a bunch of perverts and rapists... we're not Priests.0 -

For the record, I'm a vegan and I think raising animals to eat them is inhumane.
But spanking someone who enjoys getting spanked... that's just a fun way to spend Thursdays.0 -
so spanking is now hard core porn
perhaps we can get real0 -
you would be amazed at what is illegal porn-wise in certain places...
I have a friend whose job at sexyland actually used to be to watch new deliveries from o/s to look for anything that they wouldn't be allowed to sell over here...
eg, you can say fuck me but not fuck you
spanking, parafin wax and so on I have friends who know more about it than I do, but certainly the issue in AUS is that ratings for both film and games do not go high enoughI don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!0 -

We have to do three separate edits of our movies for different territories.
In the UK, you can't put your hand on the back of someone's head while they're.... um... "having a word with the customer service department." That's considered "forced" and is illegal. We can't have "water sports" in other cuts because other territories won't' allow that.
And because you can't buy physical copies of porn movies in UTAH, that's the #1 state for on-line sales and it isn't even close. Even with a relatively small population, Utah sells more than California and Texas combined in online porn and WOW, you should see the stuff those people watch.

To answer the question...
Having your hand on the back of the "oral sex performer" while they're performing oral sex on you... that's considered "forcing" sex and it's illegal to depict in the UK in adult movies.
The last studio I worked for was not allowed to distribute my wrestling series there, either because I worked wrestling holds and men being "pinned" into some of the action. And that's against the law there.
people get... weird about their porn.0
