We couldn't resist heading down for the London gig. Although we're in London next week for Soundgarden, in Dec for Neurosis and now Jan for Clutch. It's costing us a small bloody fortune!
Exactly. If they start playing Earthworm in honor of Speedway's 20th anniversary, I'm gonna snap. I am really exited for the new record and the NYE weekend show in Columbus.
I like the way this is sounding. Strange Cousins was the first album that just didn't work for me. Still can't get into it and didn't really find the songs to work live either; the couple times I saw Abraham Lincoln, I thought it brought the show to a grinding halt. Was afraid I may have been in a Clutch rut, but this seems to be promising.

agreed. Strange Cousins was their weakest effort by far. I think we are in for a return to form with Earth Rocker. At least I hope so anyway, and from what I've heard live, it's gonna be very Blast Tyrant/Pure Rock Fury-esque
Clutch killed it, in Detroit last night! What a show! I was in front of Neil all night. Highlights for me: Spacegrass and Electric Worry. These guys fuckin' rock!! New songs sounded fantastic. Cannot wait for the new album.

We definitely have to make it over to the States one year for their NYE show!

Actually if I were you and you are able to scrpae together the cash to come over, I'd head to the west coast. Its warmer and there's less a possibility of getting stabbed like there is at Bogarts
stupid thought I've had a few times over the holidays.....Clutch needs to do an original christmas song
they could totally pull off a classic. neil can make the quirkiest lyrics rock. who ever thought you'd bang your head to the Witch Doctor? or pump your fists screaming be-bop-a-loo-bop?

need to see these guys live, they've really become one of my favorite bands in the past year.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.
Don't know if you guys noticed, but they're debuting the title track vid tomorrow on http://www.earthrocker.com
So good to hear Clutch back to doing what they do best. This new shit is waaaaaaaaay better than anything from the last record.
I don't know, man...not really digging that new song. Fingers crossed on the rest of the album, but these guys are stagnating for me. On a side note, can they condense their shit to one website? This is three active sites now.

Trust me..."Crucial Velocity" will be worth the wait. That track friggin jams!
Good lord, that was a friggin' rock show last night! I love seeing the Gearheads come out for Clutch. Totally packed house, completely into the show. I've seen really big name bands at the Newport but I've never seen it as full as it was last night for Clutch. Best I've ever heard them sound from a live mix standpoint. Setlist was a little predictable, but Clutch is back in prime form.
Mondo Generator wasn't bad either. Can't believe they did "Gonna Leave You", "You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar But I Feel Like A Millionaire", and "Ode To Clarissa"
So a friend of mine has a website in which his 11 year old daughter and a friend of her's interview various different bands. A couple weeks ago, while Clutch was in Columbus, Neil was gracious enough to grant them a few minutes of his time. Here is the interview if anyone is interested. Not that standard list of questions Neil typically gets asked.

why so short? incomplete? they're headlining these shows, right? or is it cause there are so many bands on the bill?
