The show in Lancaster last night was great! Although I could have done without the surges in the crowd... The band did not and I'm starting to believe could never disappoint. Even their new song they were practicing last night was good. Still can't believe they played the Chameleon, kinda small venue. I'll be sure to see them again if they come close by again!

I could have done without 2 of the 3 openers, Kyng and Monstro, but Kingsnake killed it. They are closer to Clutch in sound, the other two were more metal.

    Enjoy your shows!

Yeah for sure. I'm not exactly sure what time we are going to get there or anything yet, but we should figure out a way to meet up.

i caught the 4/10 show in norfolk & it rocked! they are also selling blast tyrant vinyl & strange cousins-clear vinyl at the shows! i found the audio from live @ the 9:30 & sounds of the underground on itunes in their "tracks" section. amazing band! they said that they are working on a new record, so hopefully we'll have another bit of their genious soon!

I saw them this weekend and they played a tight, alas short set. Two new songs thrown into the mix. Crowd was good, but I was a little disappointed that they are only playing a 1-hour set during the Hell Yeah co-tour (especially since they were billing it as a full set by each band). The two new songs were called "British" and "Cyborg". Cyborg was a really good cut.

    The full set was

    Mice n Gods
    Texan
    Pure Rock Fury
    Cypress
    Mob Goes Wild
    Profits of Doom
    British(new song)
    Regulator
    Spleen Merchant
    House that Peter Built
    Cyborg (new song)
    50k Watts
    Struckdown
    Electric Worry / 1Eye$.

As for Hell Yeah, they came out and .... ..... did you really think I stuck around for those idiots?

i got lucky & caught them w/o hellyeah (thank god). the set was only 90 minutes. they had 2 other bands. it's good to see them help out other upstart/underground bands, but would be nice to get the 2 hour shows from a few years ago. the first time i saw them, they were recording beale st. & took a break to do a few shows. live in flint, michigan is one of the best live albums ever. they've got a sound & style that has evolved through the years. elephant riders was the beginning of the sound we hear now. not a lot of fat on their records. i even thought jam room was tight. big fat pig is 1 of my favorite songs-ever.

Elephant Riders was the first album I heard from them and I've been hooked ever since. Although I honestly didn't care for Strange Cousins from the West too much. The show I'm going to tonight is also without Hell Yeah so it's kind of a bummer to hear it's only going to be a 90 minute long show.

Killer setlist! I'd love to get Abraham Lincoln and Subtle Hustle. I saw them 2 weeks ago at the Clifton Park, NY show. Decent set there. I loved the new song 'Velocity'.

"Subtle Hustle" is one of my favorites and was quite a surprise, but they played it a step slow and it lost some of it's juice. Thanks for posting the link...Ive been dying to hear that shit again after last night. The new stuff is killer

Ahh...SH is made to be uptempo. Weird if they slowed it down.

BTW...is your name in reference to Breaking Bad? If so, cool. 8-)
