its the same amount of product though.  You and me just have more access to it.
Sundays had a little more gravitas to it when it was the only day for games....same thing for Monday.

Now we've got a couple non Sunday prime time games and we're lucky to get a good match up because Fox and CBS have to have their big game as does NBC.

Putting product in my face all the time is a big part of why I’ve cooled on the NFL. I’m not gonna get hyped for a Browns Dolphins showdown. Liked it better when they kicked in after Thanksgiving.
here is a novel idea. watch the games you are interested in and ignore those that you are not. it's not really complicated.  if a Thursday night game sucks i don't watch. if it's interesting ill watch. same with Sunday's and Monday's. my eagles don't play this week so i have no expectation of how much actual NFL I will watch this week.  Personally I think every game on Sunday should be on regular TV and the times should be staggered.  Start at 10:00 am in the East and have different games start on the hour every hour and all on TV.
I’m talking about the year round news cycle and the bogus shit that gets turned into news along with shitty prime time matchups.

I don’t watch as much of it. That was kinda the point of my post.

Yea I don’t pay attention in the off season. Heck I don’t even watch the pregame shows anymore. I used to watch those religiously in like the 90s

Yeah I can’t stand pregame shows anymore.  I just wait until kickoff and then turn on the game.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

Yeah, i dont have time for pre-post shows.  Most sunday i cant watch games other than the bills.  Too much life to do.  Primetime games are great for after the kids go to bed

The all season long Thursday games precedent was and still is bad.  The color rush was the nail in the coffin.

Back when Bill Parcells was coaching they didn't play those Thursday games, and, by the way, get your dog off my lawn.

Yeah I haven't watched pregames in a long while. Maybe catch a couple minutes once in a while, that's it.

I do watch some NFL network stuff during the week sometimes though. (And take every chance I get to watch Coleen Wolfe).

    This weekend we rock Portland

    Agree with last two posts
I love Melissa Stark on NFL Network.
Color Rush is one of the worst things to happen to my eyes in years.

You guys hate the color rush unis that much? The bad ones are really bad but I’d be fine if they became the Colts primary darks.

The Colts color rush is such a slight variant that most casual observers wont probably even notice.  The most drastic alternate I can remember is when they went with the dark blue helmets with the horse shoes on the back ... but they kinda looked New York Giants old timey.

  • Kyle Rudolph doing his best OBJ.  Hell of a catch.

    Dolphins and Fitzmagic win again.

Jets beat the Giants?  NY football is THE worst I've seen in years...  The Jets I expect but the decline of the mighty Giants is baaaaaaad.

Great game. Overtime rules suck.  Always good to see Richard Sherman lose
