What do you think Baltimore thinks of him? Or Minnesota? It doesn't take all 32 to fire him.

I'm sure they are fine. He was re-signed unanimously. The league is making gobs of money and the gobs keep growing.

There is no way he gets fired for this. It is fantasy land.

There were reports that the suspension was upheld because very influential owners wanted him suspended. Goodell ain't going anywhere

Maybe none by themselves, but collectively I could see them having some pull.

Not surprising. He obviously had plenty to hide since he wouldn't give investigators access to emails/texts.

I for one do not give a flying fuck how irrational anything about this is. I thoroughly enjoy Tom Brady being dragged through the mud. I don't find many things in life more enjoyable, in fact.

    Keep on keepin on, NFL

I am looking forward to that thing ending. I don't even care if suspensions get reduced/overturned. Everyone (outside of New England) knows Brady/the Patriots did it. Just very sick of the "fight" and hearing about it. Should have really ended before the Super Bowl.

Very much looking forward to the season. Less than a month before NCAA kicks off September 3rd.

All the NFL had to do was let the Patriots know before the game that they were be monitoring ball conditions with more scrutiny before the game and this never would have been a story. But ol' Roger decided to set up a sting and the results, well, have been glorious.

Now they are leaking Brady's personal emails. No wonder he destroyed his phone. This is a huge dumpster fire that is continuously being fed used tires by the NFL's braintrust.

I did the punishment generator and got 10 games for being caught with an underage hooker. People get 5 games for killing a homeless person and I get 10 for a hooker. Goodells NFL.

The emails did not get leaked. They were released because it is evidence in court. FOI act applies to his "personal" email.

Last season, the Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings were caught, on a cold day, using sideline heaters to warm up footballs. That's against the rules. You can argue that it's not the same level as deflating footballs, but it has the same effect: something outside of the rules to make the football easier to grip and catch. The Vikings and Panthers were warned. That's it. Nothing more.

In 2012 the Chargers used towels with an sticky substance on their game balls and didn't give them up to the NFL immediately when ordered to do so. If you think the Panthers-Vikings thing was just some honest mistake, it's a lot harder to convince anyone that there was no intent by the Chargers to gain a competitive advantage. The Chargers' punishment? A $20,000 fine. That's it. Nothing more.

1st offense and neither of those teams cheated in a Super Bowl(s) and were caught. a convicted felon will get more time for a misdemeanor than someone with no record at all. not a hard concept.
