10 Club should provide early access wristbands to members regardless of where they get their tickets from, it would be the only decent way to solve this issue.

I'm going for the livenation presale, I don't trust crowdsurge based on yesterday anymore.
What.....to ALL members? Plus a guest?

    Can't see that being logical

10C should provide us all with tickets and the band should do enough gigs to fill that demand, fans are only going to stay wanting for so long before they get fed up of waiting.

It's Wednesday morning in Europe now. I really hope we will get some news soon. The general sale is on Thursday for the Stockholm concert. Hopefully I have a ticket tonight.

I am a bit skeptical about the update that they will "diagnose the problem that occurred during today's (read yesterday's) pre-sale". Maybe we will do the crowsurge catastrophe again in the evening... Ten Club should have chosen a better partner. I believe they have some clues about how many active Ten Club fans they've sent the mail to and calculate how many percentages of the members from previous pre-sales will buy tickets and then have a partner who's servers can handle that much traffic at the same time.

I had the tickets in my cart and was proceeding to the credit card details and instead of that page turning up I had the black page with the band photo... This happened at least three times...

This will not be solved, West Coast will be on their way to bed now. Better go join ticketmaster for the seats pre-sale.

I can accept tickets selling out in 5 minutes, or 1 hour or 2 hours. But for 10C to not be able to provide a fully functioning ticket service is unacceptable. Last night was a joke. And it's still a joke. No further update (well no update really), just a 'check back for updates' is a joke. Anyone who thinks the management of Pearl Jam Inc cares about the fans is naive. Time and time again they fail us. I don't care for a fucking backpack. All I want is tickets to see my band and the fanclub can't even provide that. No doubt 10C will just pass the buck onto CrowdSurge. Or maybe Tim will slate the fans again.

I'm questioning the point of being in 10C. Memberships go up, but ticket problems go worse. That makes sense. Right now, what is the point of the digital membership when 10C cannot provide a ticket service? Please someone tell me!

If my membership was up this week, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't renew. However, it's up in June and by that time all of this will be forgotten.

Will 10C learn from last night? I very much doubt it.

It's now half past ten in the morning over here, and still no word. I didn't have any luck with Livenation presale either, but a friend did, so now I do have a ticket. Thanks, Crowdsurge. Thanks, 10c.

I know after all the 13 hours worth of frustration and tiredness will fade, I will be so happy. My first ever live PJ gig after 20 years of dreaming.

I had them in my cart 3 times but everytime I clicked on 'confirm order' it said I couldn't check out.

Apparently there were 3000 people trying at 5pm. That's nothing really and CrowdSurge/10C couldn't cope with this. PJ Inc knew the demand there'd be and clearly neither PJ Inc or CrowdSurge did enough . There will be more than 3000 people trying for tickets on Ticketmasters or Live Nations sites every Friday and they cope. Pearl Jam probably aren't even in the top 20 when it comes to biggest acts out there - I don't see Coldplay, Metallica, Foo Fighters, U2, Lady Gaga, Rihanna etc having these problems everytime their tickets go on sale. It's time for Pearl Jam Inc to sort this out. If they can't provide a ticket service that works, don't provide one at all.

My membership is up in a months time, and I'm seriously considering not renewing for the first time in years. I can get the vinyl off ebay for less than the membership costs, and for the last Euro tour the ticket situation was just as bad and I ended up getting mine through Livenation.

There really is little point in just giving them more money these days

EDIT: boyo79 - I did actually have problems getting Foo Fighters tickets in their pre-sale for Milton Keynes, eneded up having to go on the Sunday, so other bands do have issues. Nothing like this though.

And if someone has built a ticketing system that can't handle 3,000 simultaneous users, they need to be fired. Simple as that

Where I was supposed to wake up all excited, I woke up with a kind of hangover-feeling.

This was my first attempt to buy tickets through 10C (although I have been a memeber for a few years now, but only saw tem at festivals last time). How awfull!!!!! At one point my whole family had already been on standby and my dad even managed to get trough for me, but with checkin out, he got the message that the cart was empty  I did try to login here yesterday evenening late to see what happened, but that even wouldn't work. So I tried to get some sleep, but have to say it took me a while!

But (another possitive site) WE ARE NOT ALONE! At least that was my first reaction once I got on the board. I thought I was doing someting wrong (1st timer) or my internet wasn't good or fast enough....... I haven't heard that many people screaming they already managed to get tickets, so I'm still hoping we will all get the tickets through 10c that we want........

But I have to say, general sale has treated me a lot better so far..........

I'm not really looking forward tp be checkin my privat e-mail and the crowdsurge website like every 10 to 20 minutes or so for news, but guess I will be doing that. This is gonna be a long day and I won't get a lot of my work done.

Hope we will be all very happy again soon!!!!

A simple post, even one saying, "Hang in there, we're figuring things out right now and will have information to you in X number of hours" is not too much to ask. Thousands of PJs true fans rearranged schedules, put off important tasks, saved up money, put aside family and other important obligations because they care so much about this band. Is it too much to ask that the band (or more importantly, those behind the scenes) actually care even just a little in return?

You want to run the band like a business and nickel and dime the fans for every little trinket and overpriced hoodie and pair of socks, fine. But if you're going to run this band like a corporate business then you're going to have to start acting like one. That means accountability, that means your "customers" are always right, that means you serve those who keep you in business. Corporations that don't do that cease to be solvent and eventually cease to exist.

The sheer ego behind all of this is staggering. It's insulting. It's like, "We're so big and so awesome that we can do whatever we want, treat our fans however we want. If they don't like it, there's plenty more in line right behind 'em, so who cares what you think or how long you have to wait or how much you have to pay. If you don't like it, too bad for you." This is an amateur operation, run by amateurs who don't have clue one what they're doing. It's all ego, no delivery. I'm truly and honestly disgusted.

You can't even keep your own web site running properly with a mere few hundred fans logged on. Are you kidding me? Is this the 1995 version of the Internet or something?

    I am 110% with you

And still not so much as a peep of apology from 10C. No one can claim after this that they actually give a shit about the fans. It doesn't take much to type a short message saying they're very sorry for all this crap. It's appalling.

It is very hard to be positive here Dimitri. It is now 1:48am local time for me. I even tried the livenation presale but they had nothing for Oslo at all and for Sweden they did not accept my American login and password. Starting to think it is impossible for me to spend my hard earned money on a trip to Europe to see my band. I am totally unwilling to pay 5 times face on stub hub and also spend close to 4g on the trip.

I don't even think an apology would suffice this time. This shit happens every time there has been a PJ or EV tour in the last few years. They don't learn. They don't care. Saying sorry again just brushes the problems under the carpet and solves nothing.

That's a bit unfair. If they didn't care, they wouldn't have gone external to try to improve it. That they did that, even if it was just as bad, does at least show that they did try to fix it.

Staggered pre-sale sounds like a pretty good idea to me. Anything to prevent the enormous crowd surge (excuse the pun) we saw yesterday.

I'm not saying it would suffice, but it's literally the very least they could do. They're not even interested in paying lip-service to the idea that they give a shit any more. The band really need to address this. In many ways 10C is the interactive face of Pearl Jam and they simply do not care about their customers. If Pearl Jam is really happy for that to continue, that is more than a little disappointing.

Although I am sad and frustrated right now, I just know that PJ only need to hit one note and look at the crowd with their puppy eyes to make me forget it all. It's like a tattoo: when you get it, it hurts like hell and you think 'never again' but once the pain has faded you go for it all over again ;-)
