How was waiting on a friend? Anyone? Sounds like the Pittsburgh crowd was awesome unlike Ben Rothlesberger performance in the superbowl.(sorry I just had to get a shot in). Pittsburgh is a great city though I wouldnt put them in the Boston/Philly/NYC category just yet but they seem like they might be on my "the next, must go place to see a pearl jam show" list. Nice going Pitt.
Hi, well BIG BEN still wiped out Tom GOLDEN BOY Brady's name from the record
books, Youngest QB to win the bowl. You say 22 rating, I say it still counts just like that stupid TUCK RULE. FIVE TIME CHAMPIONS BABY.......
Yeah, I got it in Cleveland this year Almost fainted, that was one I never even bothered to wish for! High point of the show for me, that's my favorite Daughter tag.
well I didn't wish for it b/c I didn't know about it. It was a first for me, that's part of the sweetness the surprise! the newness...the adorableness of ed and that voice were making me shake that night in 2000, as I was 23 rows from the stage (for me, that was close). I'm glad I can control myself better now, I'm more used to pj....
9/98, 9/00 - DC, 4/03 - Pitt., 7/03 - Bristow, 10/04 - Reading, 10/05 - Philly, 5/06 - DC, 6/06 - Pitt., 6/08 - Va Beach, 6/08 - DC, 5/10 - Bristow, 10/13 B'more
8/08 - Ed solo in DC, 6/09 Ed in B'more,
10/10 - Brad in B'more
Me and my wife attended last nights PJ show, our 7th and 6th respectively, and certainly the tops on our list!!!!
We weren't close. Didn't get a tamborine. Didn't get offended by anti-Pitt. or anti-Steeler remarks. And did not stop moving, just like the band. The crowd was certainly the best we've been a part of minus the "Here we go blah blah," chant!!! Yet after the show the best was yet to come.
My wife had the best idea ever. She asked me if I wanted to wait and try and see them leave. Twist my arm. We waited 1hr and 15 minutes before being given a gift that rivaled having our children. The security guard told us to take a deep breath and enjoy the moment and the sweetest words came next "Eddie is coming out."
A van emerges from below the Mellon Arena stops in front of us and six others, and out pops EDDIE VEDDER!!!! WOW!!! F'N WOW!!! He shook my hand and hugged my wife and like a gentleman wished us well!!! It still seems like a dream and it is, but one that so fittingly came true.
Did anyone else notice the shadows on the roof? I was up in Level E (the second deck on the end) and they were pretty noticable. When one of the guys would be standing over a bright light shooting upwards, it would cast a gigantic shadow on the ceiling/dome. I assume this was more visable at the Igloo because the roof is completely round. While my seats weren't the best, at least I got to see something I had never seen before - a 100+ft shadow of McCready.
Also, wanted to say that for being up fairly high and off-center, the sound wasn't too bad at all.
yeah.. she was right infront of me...being so close to the speakers, and eventho she had ear protection.. thats boarderline child abuse...
Yes - we were talking with them. Just the most SELFISH thing a parent could do. They had other options. I have two under the age of four and I wouldn't dream of taking them to a show, let alone until 11:30... IN THE THIRD ROW DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF SPEAKERS!!!
One thing though - they got a setlist handed to them personally by Pete the head of security... But please don't let that intice you to bring your infants to the show! Wrong on sooooo many levels...
Vote Democrat - it's easier than getting a job.
"Let me tell you about Eda Munson. She's 94. She's a widow living on Social Security in Sparta, Tennessee.
Eda was born with only one kidney. She also suffers from polio, spinal meningitis, lung, liver, and pancreatic cancer, an enlarged heart, diabetes, and a rare form of cystic acne.
Now, several recent strokes along with an unfortunate shark attack has left her paralyzed and missing her right leg under the knee.
Just last week she awoke from a coma to find that, due to a hospital mix-up, her right arm had been amputated, infected with syphillis, and then reattached.
As you can imagine, Eda's prescription drug bills are staggering. They run to nearly $113 million per day. And she tells me that some weeks she has to choose between eating or treating her lyme disease.
Now, under my plan Eda's prescription drug costs would be covered, however under Mr. Bush's plan, her house would be burned to the ground and her children would be forced to drink contaminated water and eat meat from cows who have inhaled secondhand smoke. And that is wrong.
That is just wrong."
- Any Democrat running this year
let me start this off by stating, while i like pearl jam, im not even close to the fandom that alot of people seem to be. i go to one concert a year and am very appreciative that i hear the songs i do. looking at the cincy list the only thing im like .0000000001% bummed about is they opened with long road tonite instead of last night.
i do know most of the words up until yield, but riot act, binural and avacado i dont know all the songs, so to hear them for the first time when i do, its a joy to just listen to the songs and not critiquing, oh ed fucked up here or there
so having said that, heres my afternoon review from yesterdays show (and also allow me to add, noone can every say the crowd is shitty in pittsburgh without actually being there, cause thats an insane thing to say)
well, to start the day off, i told my boss not to expect much work outta me after 3pm. i finally left my office around 430ish. i was in wexford and a hop skip and a jump from 79 to 279 and i was at mellon arena around 5ish.
i was meeting my brother who works in the US Steel building, the tallest building between NY and Chitown. as an aside note, the elevator made me really dizzy, as it was flying and i got really lightheaded for a minute.
we had plenty of time to kill, so we went to a little pizza joint through the alley and ordered a small with 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni. only cost about 15 with drinks and tip. went back to his office where i had to sign in as a guest and they had to record my drivers license info.
i had talked to shits and sara on the phone, and i was informed that shits really had to pee, so sara had to talk to me. i asked her what she was wearing, and there was an awkward silence for a second until she proceeded to tell me what she was wearing.
we then went to eides entertainment which is basically an indie record store/comic book store. i saw so many toys and comics that i had when i was little, and they were selling for 100 a piece, i almost puked.
so by this time its almost 7pm and thats the time im supposed to meet up with the freaks from erie, so i call to see where they are and if they are indeed here, but i get no answer. i am a little worried that theres no answer because shits is selling a gal i used to work with tickets, and id hate to get bitched at for something i have little to no control over.
we walk over to mellon from the chatam center, where i sell my extra ticket for $30. as we stand there, i realise every single woman in the sw pa area who should not be wearing a belly shirt or showing whale tail, is doing just that. i almost swore off women when i look to my left and see to rays of sunshine coming from chatam center.
the first has a goofy smile on her face and i can see her mouthing the words " i want to fuck you" or " is that him?" im not sure, im a little confused on this. an lo-n-behold it is kelly and sara. it was semi awkward at this point but hugs were exchanged and we all did manual stimulation to each other.
i introduced them to my brother and then we went up to the ticket doors. me and my brother already had our tickets and the two dames had to go to a different entrance for theirs. the security guy frisks me but fails to notice the digi cam in my front pocket. the funny thing is, where he did pat me down is where i thought about putting my camera.
im too lazy to go back and edit, but on my way to my brothers office i did call NothingFan (Josh) and was like, hey josh, its jerry. hes like who, and i say, Peeps. oh hey is his reply. i ask where they are at and he tells me and i tell him ill try to make it over there, but not sure. i didnt really feel like meeting up with a bunch of people, and if frick and frack didnt show up when they did, we were heading in and going to our seats.
i get in line to buy a shirt/poster, when the hoodie i inquired about was only a small left. i ended up buying the blue avacodo, which i might add, is misprinted with the last city being spelled George. i go to another setup and they have the navy blue hoodie in my size and i buy a poster, so far thats a whopping $100 spent. a little more than i wanted to after the week i had financially, but oh well.
we get to our seats and luckily we are the last row in c10, row l i believe, seats 3 and 4 ( i sold ticket # 5). the numbers start with 3, so we are pretty well set as in not having too many weirdo/strangers near us.
on with the concert
the opening act was Meh. i dont know the guys name, but he seemed like to me an oldie, like frankie vallie oldie. he kept the songs short, and some of em were ok, but i swear every song i heard him announce was a cover of someone he helped write a song for in 1963. he also seemed to force his movements, like he watched daltry/roth/tyler/plant and said, ok, at this point i have to do this, and now that, leading into this.
at one point he did mention he needed a cigarette, and eddie came running from the back to hand him one. thankfully he wasnt on all night and it was break time.
Release opens the show and im blown away, it just sounds so great live and the emotion is just dripping like water from a sponge. normally i dont like newer songs off of the albums until i hear them live then i get an appreciation for them, and Life Wasted/severed hand is no different. i didnt really know the lyrics to most of the avacado songs, but they did sound really good live. Corduroy was next and i love that they played this. such a great song from a great album and it just kicks alot of ass live. Do The Evolution wasnt one of my faves off of yield, but live produces so much more energy and emotion than the album can dare hope to achieve.Dissident is possibly one of my least favorite songs, but live it is tolerable to me. and even though everyone bitches it gets played too much Even Flow is still mikes baby to play, and i hope they play it ever stop so that someone knew can see just how great mike is and they emotion he puts into his guitar.
Marker In The Sand, like the others, is better live than on the album (which i think i have listened to 3 times total) so i may still be a bit bias. In Hiding was my second time hearing it live, the last time being 2003 at the same venue, and this time around it sounded so much tighter, amazing what a little practice will do huh? Better Man my second case of major goosebumps. i cant even imagine what it is like to be the band and here how every single member of the audience sings the begining, like even flow i hope they play this every stop. Daughter (With My Own Two Hands tag), like betterman, gets sung in the begining by the audience, but its almost like we mail it in, after being spent singing betterman. i almost thought they were going to do It's OK, which if they would have, i woulda pulled my cock out and beat off right there.
Garden, for some reason didnt hit me right away, about half way through i realised what song it was. I Got Shit is always a crowd pleaser, especially when everyone sings fuck. State Of Love & Trust, to me, almost rivaled the unplug version. mike was on fire along with matt and stone and jeff and even boom. Inside Job was so so to me, the only couple of songs that i do like on Avacado are wws, gone and parachutes which leads to World Wide Suicide while alot of energy is burned playing this song, i like the album version slighty better. Porch sounded really good and was a good pick to end the main set.
Wasted Reprise had just ed and boom, in blue light, and of the short intro/outros they play from time to time, sounded the best that i have heard. Man Of The Hour was the third goosebumper of the night, and how anyone can not almost be brought to tears by this song if you have a strained relationship with your father, well, you have no heart. at this point i figured they were going to do an all accoustic/slow encore, and a cover of the stones Waiting On A Friend didnt dissappoint. as the song played live, i could see the video in my head (yes im THAT old). Small Town was decent enough followed by crowd favorites Black and Alive. for as much as it seems people hate TEN on this board it sure does gets its love on tour, with very solid renditions.
Go, Why Go, Comatose, Smile, the first three songs went kinda fast to me. while i enjoyed hearing them live, they arent on my gee i hope i hear it live list. then i hear the harmoica and start to dream a bit that its smile. i want to say that jeff and stone switched instruments on this one and i must say, jeff more than held his own, as did stone.
next the lights come on and ed tells stone to take it away. as they are playing it, ed bust i dont know, 6 or 8 tambourines and is tossing them into the crowd and near the end my brother says, so you think its time to leave. i look at my phone and its only like 1125. i say no, mike is going to bust a nut on YLB, and sure enough, ed says mike wants to say thank you. as much as i love this song, its tough on me, cause i have no fucking clue what the lyrics will be this time, but to hear mike just go nuts on it makes up for it. he also tagged the star spangled banner on the end and that was it.
some highlights from the concert not really musicall related.
- our usher did some wicked magic on my brother with a 1 and 5 dollar bill. still scratching my head on that one
- the steps leading down from d10 had something on them, cause i kid you not, probably 6 or more people wiped out at the bottom, with one kid sounding like bobkat goldthwait in police acadamey. as he falls, he hollars out, that didnt hurt that didnt hurt. buddy, you just fell backwards on cement stairs, it hurt
- ed states how they have been allover the world and pittsburgh is not their favorite place to be, at which point a chant of here we go steelers trys to take off from section d10 and c10. pretty sure that failed. he then goes on to say how it is their top 3 places to play at since the crowd is always so energetic. he said it was ok to throw stuff at him befoe he announced it was one of their favorite places to play, and all i could think of was shit, we have another quarter rant shortly people were throwing shit on the stage at him when he said cigarettes and joints at him. he says how he needs a lighter now, and three or twenty were launched around him. he says, who in the fuck smokes marborlo menthol, you fucking pussies
- ed says how he wants to talk about voting but doesnt want to be too preachy about it with politics. so he tells everyone to vote for jason bay since the MLB all star game is in pittsburgh this year and that bay is currently in 3rd place
- shits and sara with no h. i saw sara and was like, i cant believe i type some of the things i do to her. she looks so fucking innocent thats its not even funny. and shitz, well, shes shitz, i never saw her without alcohol in her hand, and she did let me know she had to go take a piss.
- ed wiped out trying to throw his tamborine to the girl in green to the left of the stage
And I was right next to Oppie and saw this. I'm a parent of a 10-month old and to see that was little bit of a buzz-kill for me. That infant was probably 5-6 months old, tops. You could've plugged his ears up with cement and I guarantee that his little eardrums would still be ringing after that show. The best example of selfishness I've witnessed in a long time. If the babysitter did cancel, take your lossses and put your child to bed and let him/her sleep like an angel. Truely messed up.
I buy all the boots, but this one not up yet, what did Ed mean by that? Pitts not one of their fav cities? More Seattleites STILL WHINING About SB XL??
Lifelong Steelers fan here in Mass...
Christopher
YAY for you being a Steeler fan in Mass hehe...
Ed also said after the crowd quit booing and doing the Steeler chant that Pittsburgh "was like their third" favorite...he meant it all in fun of course! He did say if people gave him joints, Pittsburgh would be their favorite place
Pittsburgh rocked.....it was our first pearl jam show besided when they opened for the stones....it was everything we could have envisioned and more...we just hope they will continue to tour in the future because we had such a great time and we want to experience more ......everyone at the show was cool....Eddie seemed very rested and talkative, we are very happy and we love pearl jam very much...
I forgot to mention...how AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL Eddie sounded doing Throw Your Arms Around Me before Pollard came on. I wish it'd be on the bootleg, I'd never heard it live before until last night and it was just beautiful.

I'm was a child was taken to many concerts by my parents, and i now have my own children, whom will surely enjoy concerts in their youth with their daddy...but, fuck, there are some rules...i had been following that shit but for some reason it didn't register with me that it was an infant....not cool at all...especially when my wife and i spent almost 6 months wondering if our newborn was born deaf...without us blowing out his eardrums....ruless for children...simple....no infants. it's really a parents call but my kids don't start any shows until 8 or 9 and that is being liberal....plus....get over it folks...if you want to take your kids....nosebleed seats....just the way it is....hell, earplugs required in nosebleed, especially at the fucking civic, or mellon, fuck name changes...okay...bye now
I just got home, and I'm kinda surprised that more people aren't talking about PORCH!!! Fuckin amazing, the best I've ever seen, one of the best I've ever heard (and I've heard just about all of them).
This was my 3rd and last show of this tour, and by far the best. I think the setlists in Cleveland and Detroit were a little more to my liking, but the energy last night was beyond belief! Best crowd I've ever been a part of, the only one that compares is Buffalo '03. And I don't think I've ever seen the band look happier
ed had a smile a mile wide after the betterman intro during the pause. I've never experienced anything like last night, it truely was preternatural!

friends don't let friends listen to good charlotte
i heard from a few people that on the news someone fell from the second floor during the show, any truth to this?
there wasn't any commotion to indicate that something like that happened...no police/parametics or anything during or after in a noticeable fashion...false i'd have to say
unfortuantely, I found last nights show to be quite lacking... I dunno, I just wasnt that into it... Not to say I didnt like it. Don't get me wrong, but this was, in my opinion the worst of the 10 shows Ive seen this year. Even overshadowed by Toronto 1 on this tour...
Good show, nice to see Smile, and Waiting on a Friend... But I was really hoping to see some rarities. I guess when you see them 10times a year you get spoiled. The energy was great, for a small arena it rocked pretty fierce... Wouldve been much louder if it had sold out.
----NOTE: I LIKED THE SHOW, my opinion was just that the set was the blandest
Hey, I just wanted to say I know exactly how you felt about the show. I understand it's hard to explain how great you think the show was, and that it just wasn't the greatest you'd ever seen. The setlist, too, for me, was what placed this show near the bottom of all the shows I've seen.
One other thing that bummed me out about this show was my section: Igloo club west 2. I've read how great the crowd was at the show, however, this section was full of a bunch of arms crossed, stand there, do nothing, can't even clap after a song, sit down during encore breaks lame-o-s. It really brings the show down a notch when the people around you are this. I still jumped, danced, and sang the whole show, but I'm sure you know what I mean.
The real highlights of the show, for me, were
1. Throw Your Arms Around Me Preset
2. Jeff and Stone switching instruments for Smile (Didn't it make you "smile" to watch Jeff playing guitar?)
3. Release to open
4. Black
5. My Own Two Hands tag on Daughter
6. Ed blocking the spotlight to extend Mike's solo when the crowd started clapping, and then shining the light around the arena of the reflection from the guitar.
7. Man of the Hour
8. Porch opening and jam-out
9. I Got Id
10. Waiting on a Friend (I don't really know this song, but I could tell once I get the boot it will be one of my favs)
11. Dissident, Garden, and In Hiding were treats
12. Go, Why Go, Comatose to start the 2nd encore
13. The Ames poster from the show is awesome! The red card stock with the black, old school typewriter, typed out "blood on all the pistons." Not the fanciest poster, but somehow with this one there was a lot of beauty in it's simplicity.
I think that's enough, but I feel like there were a few other things that happend to make this one special in its own way.
I just wanted to post this because it seemed like we felt similar ways about the show and just wanted other people that read or responded to your review had a little better understanding of the show. All the above was absolutely awesome, but the set list left a little to be desired. Not a big deal.
And lastly, I feel a hell of a lot better after looking at Cinci's set list.
Have a great night all!
"...what a different life had i not found this love with you..."

true we saw it and my friend is paramedic. he was talking to the paramedics on call last night they rolled out about 10 people out of the show as soon as it started. the paramedics said they couldn't believe they were rolling people out so early. that is why they closed the beer stands earlier then normal. they completely shut the stands down you couldn't even get water. they were telling people to go the drinking fountains which were full of shit. as for cops didn't see any in venue they were all over at cleveland

The only thing that caught my attention was one of the head security guys running towards the back from backstage to the back of the floor somewhere. This must be what it was for.

Have a great night all!
i sat row u west 4! us and lower were rocking! but i looked behind me and to the back away from the stage and maybe 25% were rocking. About 10 of us could not believe over in the west they just had there arms crossed! no emotion at all. some head bobbing! i looked accross to east and the were rocking hard with the floor! RICH DADDY MUST Of GOTTEN MOST OF THE IGLO WEST SEATS FOR THE KIDDIES THAT NEVER OR KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE GREATEST BAND IN THE US!
I was sitting in section C22 and some kid fell off from the railing and onto the cement during the first couple of songs. It was too dark for anyone to see what was going on, but it was very disturbing. He fell face forward on the cement and wasn't moving at all. The paramedics came and took him away on a stretcher. I hope he was okay.....it kind of put a damper on the beginning of the show, but I still had a great time.

This was my first show ever in Pitt and I'm disappointed I hadn't seen a show there sooner. It was my 29th overall and my 8th this tour and was by far my favorite one yet this tour and first one to crack my top 10 overall.
The crowd was just amazing and I had my best 10 club seats ever using my number (first row of section 6 right by the walkway to closer sections so I had a totally unobstructed view of the show from 18 rows back from the stage and could see the whole stage without having to look left or right.)
Like I always say, there has never been a bad show where Release opens. To me it's the perfect opener and a precursor to knowing it's going to be a special show. I love the way they're mixing the new songs in more in the set and not just playing 5 or 6 in the first few songs of the show.
In Hiding was definitely a highlight. I lost my voice when SOLAT came on. Hearing the trio of Garden, I Got Shit and SOLAT was amazing.
Porch and Black were some of the best versions I've ever heard. And how can you not Smile when Smile comes on.
All in all it was a tremendous show with tons of energy from the band and crowd. I love arena shows, but especially the older arenas that aren't as large as the newer ones that are too cavernous. The Mellon Arena reminded me a lot of my favorite show ever - the Spectrum show in 03 - and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to see Pearl Jam on its A Game with a crowd that was also on its A Game.
Plus I got to wear my old school Merril Hoge jersey as I'm a diehard Steelers fan living in Philly. It was really cool having random people hi-five me throughout the night and yelling out nice jersey and you go Hoge all night.
there wasn't any commotion to indicate that something like that happened...no police/parametics or anything during or after in a noticeable fashion...false i'd have to say
"Information is not knowledge.
Knowledge is not wisdom.
Wisdom is not truth.
Truth is not beauty.
Beauty is not love.
Love is not music.
Music is the best."

As were my seats... Section 2, row G (seventh row center)
Met some great people emphasis on SOME...and my seat mate was awesome...aka Cateeto.
The Pre Party benefiting the CCFA was great, the cover band 10 wasn't too bad either.
Had a great time creating my scrapbook page and I hope there will be more fundraisers like that. (Maybe we could actually MEET MIKE? Is that possible?)
The set list...damn...missed pre set because some of our group were lagging behind...so we said fuck it, we're going...and missed preset and the opening band. Oh well, don't care.
The energy was all consuming and I think I really sweat all of my bodily fluids out...dancing, singing and smiling my ass off!
I've never seen Ed smile SO MUCH in my life as a fan. He truely looked happy and it showed. Although, he did get a quite tipsy and tripped over a monitor and unplugged Stone's guitar in the process! HA!
Every one of them looked pleased to be there. Ed did joke around about how Pitt wasn't their favorite place to play...but their 3rd favorite. Hrm...what are 1 and 2? Seattle and Boston? ; )
Chemistry between all the guys, (including Boom,) was evident, as the songs never lost their energy...with NO breaks during the first I don't know how many songs in the 1st set.
This is going to be ONE HELL of a bootleg.
It's not up yet! WAH!
Shout out to Cateeto and Foxy Mop. Wish I could have spent more time with you. PM me and maybe we could get together somehow, sometime!
A tired fan in Connecticut,

Hey all--this was my 2nd PJ show and they were on FIRE. My first show was East Rutherford 2 (3 weeks ago), and I will say that I liked both setlists for different reasons...ER2 had more rarities (Rats/Hard to Imagine) but Pitt had all those standard songs that I've always wanted to hear live (Better Man/Daughter/EWBTCIAST). I think the highlight of Pittsburgh though was the opening of the 2nd encore...GO! How sweet was that? I remember he introduced it by saying, "This is like seeing a brick wall in front of you, and just stepping on the gas." So incredible. And the light show at the end of Go was the best of the night.
Now, I'm from Jersey, and I've seen a lot of shows in Jersey/Philly/NYC, and while I think the best PJ fans are from Philly, I have to give it up to the Pburgh crowd! Definitely better than ER2. I'm kind of embarrassed for my home state.

thanks, i bought both newspapers yesterday and didn't see anything. You know, there's something about Pennsylvania, Pearl Jam, and people falling from heights. If anyone remembers some guy fell off a bridge after Hershey 03.

some of these fanviews are giving me goosebumps people!! sounds like you all had fun and i cant wait to get back at it myself! see you next year in pitts hey ?
thats interesting!!
It was incredible. I don't know if they're always that damn good, but it was amazing. See you next year when they play Pittsburgh
how is it elitist? I said I enjoyed it... Can a person not want to hear some rarities? I had a good time, the show was good.... A good PJ show is better than most of my other fave bands great shows.
True. They're not going to play all rare songs every night, or even more than a couple, because that's not what anyone wants out of a select group. I mean, it was my first show. I wanted to hear Alive, Black, Porch, Release, Do The Evolution, and Go 1,000x more than I wanted to hear an obscure song off of Lost Dogs. Not that I don't love any rarity, but most of us wanted to hear Alive, or other such songs you might be sick of.

Hi, well BIG BEN still wiped out Tom GOLDEN BOY Brady's name from the record
books, Youngest QB to win the bowl. You say 22 rating, I say it still counts just like that stupid TUCK RULE. FIVE TIME CHAMPIONS BABY.......
well I didn't wish for it b/c I didn't know about it. It was a first for me, that's part of the sweetness the surprise! the newness...the adorableness of ed and that voice were making me shake that night in 2000, as I was 23 rows from the stage (for me, that was close). I'm glad I can control myself better now, I'm more used to pj....
8/08 - Ed solo in DC, 6/09 Ed in B'more,
10/10 - Brad in B'more
We weren't close.
MUCH LOVE PJ!!!!!
Also, wanted to say that for being up fairly high and off-center, the sound wasn't too bad at all.
That is just wrong."

i do know most of the words up until yield, but riot act, binural and avacado i dont know all the songs, so to hear them for the first time when i do, its a joy to just listen to the songs and not critiquing, oh ed fucked up here or there
so having said that, heres my afternoon review from yesterdays show (and also allow me to add, noone can every say the crowd is shitty in pittsburgh without actually being there, cause thats an insane thing to say)

Have a great night all!
true we saw it and my friend is paramedic. he was talking to the paramedics on call last night they rolled out about 10 people out of the show as soon as it started. the paramedics said they couldn't believe they were rolling people out so early. that is why they closed the beer stands earlier then normal. they completely shut the stands down you couldn't even get water. they were telling people to go the drinking fountains which were full of shit. as for cops didn't see any in venue they were all over at cleveland
