A big thank you to the ten club for what was more or less a perfect night - i won the lottery and sat 2nd row - basically dead center (ever so slightly off to stone's side) - the seats were unbelievable and i thought the show was amazing - i have seen pearl jam 10 or 11 times and think that it was one of the most intense shows i have ever seen them put on, i kept expecting them to slow down the pace a bit but, they rocked the place one song right after another - on a personal note, the highlight of my night was low light into down - as they are my two favorite PJ songs and were both done very well that night
i thought the crowd was awesome both nights (admittedly biased for the second night since i was right in the middle of the pit) but, you could tell that PJ was feeding off of the energy that they gave them - because of various other things going on, i could only go to the 2 camden shows this tour but, i thank pearl jam and the 10 club for a night i will never forget
hopefully soon i can get my pictures up

Just joined the message pit as soon as i got home so i could share my experience with some true fans. Fan club member is 32x,xxx just to start out. Live in Western Ny and drove to Philly thursday to visit a buddy to stay with him and go to the Camden shows. First night was in section 202, which weren't that bad except for the fact that i was right behind the sound board and the setlist was in plain view and people were reading it and yelling out which songs were on it, so needless to say i knew 95% of the first set before the show even started. Next night i go to pick up my tickets and needless to say they read P1 Pit Row 1 Seats 13 & 14, dead center in front of Eddie. One of the most memorable experiences of my life. In the front there is about a ten foot space taped off that no security except PJ security can walk in, and i was right in the middle of that. Early on in the show Eddie leaned over into the crowd and pointed at me and he was leaning as far as he could, and one of his security guards handed the pic that eddie was giving to me and i almost died. I also caught a Jeff pic which was awesome. When Eddie had to two beers he bought for the crowd, they both started at each end of the front row and ended up at me and the guy to the right of me so i kept the cup for one more piece to remeber this show. I have so many great pics and videos of this that i will post once i get familiar with this message board. This was my 18th time seeing Pj and one i will never forget!!!!!

---Yeah, he handed it to that guy about 3 people to my right, and tossed a tambourine to a little girl almost right behind me.

the band had a lot of energy, and the crowd was outstanding. (and for the poster people....those are great too)
My only gripe was with the Camden police and the dispersal form the venue.
It took me nearly 3 hours to get to my hotel which was 10-15 minutes away after night 1, and it took just over 2 hours to get back via ferry after night 2.
I love Philly, and would visit that city again in a heartbeat. But I dont think I would go to that venue again.....$20 bucks to park in a stockyard?......what the hell was that? I thought that was REALLY strange. And semi-dangerous.
And I have NEVER been in a situation were it took that long to get out of a venue. Makes Alpine Valley seem like a drive-thru.
So, great time in Philly, great people I met, and great food.
Just joined the message pit and thought I'd post about my Camden II experience. It was my first Pearl Jam show and I was super excited. I just joined the 10c so I didn't have good tickets at the time, we ended up in the second row of people on the lawn. I too thought the $20 dollar parking was a bit ridiculous, especially since in the parking lot.....there were two dudes walking around looking into people's car. We left pretty much right at the direct ending of Baba and beat the traffic. The security wasn't bad, but we had a few people that just got a little too drunk up in the lawn and were just walking around bumping into people and otherwise causing everyone else to have a bad time. The show as it was, was absolutely amazing. I drove from State College, PA and got home at about 3:30 in the morning and went to work at 6......still wide awake. Can't wait for the next tour........and it was truly great meeting all the wonderful Pearl Jam fans.
I am just getting over my "Jam Over" from the 2 Camden shows. For Camden II, I invited my 15 year old Godson to attend his first show. Needless to say, he now has the PJ virus. I even hooked him up with a few boots and DVD's to check out on his ride home to Long Island. The weather again was awesome for June. Ed's pre-opener smack down with the security guard was priceless. The setlist was sick; reverse mamasan, Down, would have LOVED to hear LBC. What a great show!! Met a couple that flew in from the Netherlands to catch some of the shows, talked to them by the waterfront area. What a great time.
Question, I was behind the center about 4pm and heard a sound check, they played Severed Hand (part), Miracles(riffs), You Are(riffs), no vocals though. Just thought I would put it out there.
I really want to say hi to you nice people, I'll bet your nephew had a GREAT time at his 1st show!
So did we! Well, except for the pre-opener part....
We found out we had better seats than night one: section 100 row A!!
Before hitting our seats we wanted to check out the nice lawn, great! Untill we heard yelling and yes: there was Ed with his beautiful song. And we were there, so far away, when we could have been almost in front!!!
We met so many great people, it was a real bless to enjoy the shows in your country this tour, along with the sightseeing of course!!
Thanks for a great time, and we enjoyed the fundraiser party so much this day. Even won a raffle, not the signed poster, but some cute stuff from the radiostation WMMR 93.3, which provided some nice live PJ concert music when we couldn't find our way back to the motel. That one time I didn't mind going directions for at least 1 hour!!
My 7+ month pregnant wife and I were incredibly lucky for Camden 2, we won the lottery, front row center. What an incredible experience, thank you Ten Club! I hope the lottery continues in the future so other people get the same chance that we had.
I finally had a chance to post some pictures online. I took a lot, but only posted the better ones. And there are a few of Eddie with the $12 beer.
When we picked up the tickets that night we both looked at each other in complete disbelief. As we walked in we heard Eddie opening up for Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. We were working our way down to our seats when Eddie stopped the song and started asking a security guard to take it easy. In the excitement of getting to our seats we missed what happened. When we made it through the layers of security we were told to go to the side of the stage to go get a wristband from the very guy that Eddie just laid into a minute ago. He said we’d have to wait for the wristbands (his supervisor had them) and then asked us if we saw what happened and said that he wouldn’t be coming near our seats for the rest of the night. He kind of had the “Holy shit, I just got my ass chewed by Eddie Vedder,” look on his face, a little scared I would say. He also said that all he was doing was asking the girls to stop standing on the seats with the banner. Apparently Eddie thought he was trying to stop them from holding up a sign when he stepped in. Toward the end of TLAP, we went back to the side of the stage to pick up the wristbands from the supervisor and security guy. The supervisor told us that while TLAP was playing, the security guy was called backstage and Eddie apologized to him. Class act.
I also thought it was great when Eddie gave that really young girl a tambourine during Baba O’Riley. And my wife’s most prized possession is now the pick that Eddie passed to a security guy to pass to her. I was the guy next to the guy that got the wine bottle from Eddie at the end of the show; it was pretty full too.
Thanks again Ten Club!

so lucky!! it was a GREAT show! I danced my ass off, great, great time!
Thanks to another fanclub member I had the privilege of sitting row 7 -awesome seats, awesome concert, great view for seeing the entire band and taking pictures when i wasn't dancing and jumping around like a maniac.
I almost dropped my camera when EV walked to our side near the middle/end of the show.
