    A package has arrived at La Casa De BD (in NJ, I am in FL)... From our neighbors up north :D

    It suggests not opening until 12/25... Being jewish I am going to put it under the Hanukkah bush and open on the 20th...

    Yay, packages are starting to arrive nicely. :) One of my favourite parts of Secret Santa.

    I've still got mine unopened, which is some sort of a Christmas miracle in itself. :lol: I think I'll tear into one or two over the weekend, will need the cheer, I think.

    In other news, my present has been sent and I was assured that it will make it to it's destination in time for Christmas. :)

    I haven't really been in a christmas mood yet, but I gotta admit that this thread kinda puts me into it. Having seen all the wonderful gifts that rrived so far, I hope my package arrives soon and I hope my recipient will like it at least a little :shifty: Great gifts so far! :thumbup:

    earlier today i heard from my SS recipient from last year, telling me that he still uses and loves the gift he received from us last year

    well, i get my secret santa package delivered to work. they are almost as excited to see what i get as i am. they are like, "i hope you get good candy like that year from finland"

    This year's Secret Santa was a big challenge for me. Not so much because I wasn't sure what to get for my person. But about 3 weeks ago I became very sick with vertigo. I've never felt like this before and it's been awful! :sick: :crazy:

    The worst part was that I couldn't drive a car. So I've been working from home and relying on other people to take me places, when I felt up to going out.

    But I couldn't go shopping for my Secret Santa! Aagh! So much for all my brilliant ideas of what to get for them. I had to do everything online or by phone. I thought I would never get everything together. But my package is finally ready to ship and will go out tomorrow. It's such a hodgepodge of things, I hope my person likes it. :think: :shifty: :problem:

    Well what a surprise I got today when I had to go to the post office to pick up a package!!!

    It turns out that the previous post about my present arriving was not actually my SS but just a very very generous PJ fan sending me something :oops:

    So I got my ACTUAL SS present today...... :shock: holy shit....complete and utter awesomeness encapsulated...
    Thank you so much to giventolukinkp....your generosity absolutely stunned me....
    I hope I dont forget anything...I got:

    A bushleaguer 7' (which I dont have!!!!!!)
    PJ stickers
    PJ20 badges & sticker set
    A chicago fridge magnet
    a rudolph pez
    Popping candy (which I loved as a kid)
    A MASSIVE chocolate chip cookie
    A cool light up rudolph nose
    Some handmade chocolates
    ...and the piece de resistance....
    a homemade 'Irish Al' mini xmas stocking!!!!

    Kelly you were over and above in your generosity...thank you so much...I cannot put into words my gratitude so I just hope you know that you kicked my xmas spirit into overdrive!!

    I'm so glad you liked it :) I freaked out when I saw your post from before, thinking I had somehow screwed up (since this was my first year doing this).
    I'm really glad you don't have that 7 inch---I heard you were a vinyl fan from a few people here who assisted me. The rest was just a bunch of silliness, but I'm glad you liked it :)
