    I've heard "Let's call a spade a shovel,..." way too much lately.

    A person can use that once - ONCE -, and really think it's clever. After that, they're just being a tool.

    The Boss has a way of overrusing the phrase "scope creep". As in more than once. Unless you're a military commander, stop using that phrase. Oh, he also says "no worries" all of the time. Usually when you should be worried about something. :?

    Regarding the weather: "you know what they say, wait 10 minutes and it'll change"

    This isn't bad in places where it's true, but people say it all the time in Western Oregon, where the weather changes are so gradual and predictable. If you wake up and it's sunny, it's still going to be sunny when you're coming home from work. If you wake up and it's raining, it'll still be raining when you're coming home from work.
