I only eat my steak with ketchup. I usually get a lot of weird looks at restaurants. Is this really that weird?

Weird??? Yes in my opinion. I'm a Heinz 57 guy though.

However, this is not nearly as weird as a guy I know who puts ketchup on his pancakes.

  • steak and ketchup are two of my favorite things. I don't have to put ketchup on my steak, but I have done it in the past.

I also like ketchup on cucumbers. :P

perhaps you should try med-rare without ketchup...but yeah, ketchup with steak is a little odd. If you like it, that's what you like.

...why hasn't anybody asked you why you didn't spell it 'catsup'?

I prefer ketchup vs. catsup. I always have to have Heinz as well.

  • I would never dare of letting ketchup touching my steak, but like others said, if that's how you like than rock on. I also refuse to eat a steak cooked past medium. The rarer the better I say.
