I don't have any confirmed sources or anything like that, but Rage is playing South America in the fall, and the July show in Califronia spilled out some more details today. The logic in my head tell me that the poster is for a festival, and who better to bring in a band that is coming back and awaiting concert details? The timing just seems right in my head.
Aaaah, you bastard! you said 'mark my words' on a hunch? :D. Works for me! It would also make sense with the 20 in the hint....
One other thing to comsider - when Chris Cornell played here last week, someone in the crowd yelled out 'when is Soundgarden coming here?'.....his response was 'I don't know but we'll be playing somewhere close this summer'....He might have been talkin about Van or the Gorge, but the crowd reacted as if everyone took it to mean Calgary (everyone boo'd)....maybe SG will be playing Calgary?

That would be nice. That would save me from making 2 trips to Vancouver (The first one being the PJ show)

I'm always a little bitter that bands that i want to see pass over the capital when they come through our country . . Montreal and Toronto always get the shows, but what about us in between!? Hopefully PJ feel the urge to stop by on the way through again........

We were trying to organize an Ottawa meet up. you interested?
Keep me posted on this as well!

I will. We need to bump up the old thread I guess. I stopped because I was getting a bit embarrassed.

I really hope I didn't lead anyone astray with my RAGE guess. I am just confident in my own guessing ability and really think I have figured out something huge for the first time. I really don't have any sources, but if I am right it will be my best guess ever. And it will be August 13, because that's when I travel to Seattle.

One of their things says if you are in school to "BREAK OUT"...which made me think Foo Fighters. Another three hours I guess.

Was thinking that it's odd a radio station is announcing a concert at 10am. Usually they announce them during the morning show around 7-8am. 10am in Calgary is 9am in Seattle which is when Pearl Jam usually makes big announcements. Hmmmmm.....I doubt it's a PJ announcement but some more fuel for the fire.

I will be disappointed if it's the Foo Fighters. I am pretty pumped for the announcement though. They are pretty giddy on the radio right now.

It's not Pearl Jam. Source confirmed (or denied, I suppose) that yesterday.

No worries man, it's all in good fun.

I read the thread from the bottom up when I just clicked on it....saw 'no Rage' and was a bit disappointed....then I scrolled up and saw JANE'S ADDICTION???? Fucking SWEET! I didn't see that coming at all...I've never seen them and have been a huge fan since way before PJ...this is awesome news, made my day!

I hate to be a whiner, but PJ better hurry the f up.... this is getting ridiculous, my concert dollars are dwindling fast....
