Weezer at Princes Island? Or Rivers Solo at Folk Fest? Meh for me, my wife will be excited though. May get me some brownie points for that flight to Saskatoon in Sept??? :D

It seems strange that X would hold a big press conference for just a one band show. Weezer at that. Yes Lolla is a crazy stretch and was only based on a guess because it's 20 this year too. Maybe the station is putting on their own festival. Anyway 10am Tuesday we'll know. Cheers

BTW I'm pretty confident in a Calgary show. See you there!

Lolla in Calgary? That doesn't seem to make sense...

There was Lolla in Chile back in April. So why not Calgary?
It is 100 % not Lollapalooza. I love seeing PJ outside, but I have never seen them on an Island In the sun.....
It doesn't make any difference to me one way or other :D

Well...I haven't heard one rumor of PJ here in Halifax..so I'm starting to lose hope that we will be part of it. Have a new bambino in the house and won't be traveling to any shows this year, but here's to hoping they treat the rest of Canada right and play the rumored dates!! Even if I can't make them, I still enjoy seeing some Canada love!

I'm enjoying these Calgary rumours...well, except for the Weezer part of them, but I've sat through worse bands for Pearl Jam. Of course, the "original" Calgary rumour was for a Saddledome concert, so it's kind of surprising hearing about a festival-type deal. Guess we'll find out tomorrow. Hopefully everything works out as scheduled--I'll actually be here on the 20th.

I won't be out there for Pearl Jam (if/when), but I'll be seeing you crazy Maritimers in July for U2/Arcade Fire. First time I'll have ever been and I cannot...frigging...wait.

Rent a car and check out Halifax too ;-) Worth it. You'll be suitably impressed with the Moncton concert location, once you are in. Getting out is a bitch.

I'm planning on spending as little time in Moncton as possible--not because I don't want to see Moncton, but because I want to see Halifax. I'll be there for about five days, actually...Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton, Quebec City.

Yeah, The Hill is a bitch to get get out of. Depending on how intoxicated you plan on being, you're better of finding a parking spot a few clicks away and hike back after the show. I know I'd rather be walking for an hour than sit in traffic for two.
