Great boot, one of my favorites from the Euro 2012 tour. Good set list, Ed sounds strong despite being sick, and Matt's drums sound punchy as hell in this mix.

For the first time Cropduster opens a show. I quite like this opening. Given To Fly, Corduroy and Last Exit follow but strangely they don't flow that well to me here. On Daughter there is an extended outro but Ed doesn't take up the vocals. Immortality is next and awesome. Like in Atlanta, Even Flow and 1/2 Full are back to back. Can't Keep is then next and works well mid-set. After being dropped the previous night You Are reappears, and the main set comes to a close with Thumbing My Way, Jeremy and then Black.
The first encore begins with I Am A Patriot and then Go and Glorified G. Ed forgets the early verses of Breath, the crowd helping Ed remember the lyrics. He also forgets a few chords in Betterman. Alive ends the encore. The second encore starts with Smile, for the first time on this leg of the tour. Fuckin' Up is then next and hearing Stone take centre-stage and let go on the solo's is epic. Yellow Ledbetter brings the show to an end.

EASILY one of the best quality and better sounding boots of 2008. A really great show. Anytime they open with HTI it's great. Other stand out performances from this show are Severed Hand in the #2 slot (not even a big fan of the song), Light Years (a much heavier guitar intro than usual), Who You Are (always great, and although played a lot during the 2008 tour - great version of it), Sad (always a treat and great as always), Come Back (beautiful), Black (a VERY good version of this at this show.)

Seattle 7/22/98. Listening to Seattle shows all week until I'm standing in the GA pit on Friday. Cant f'n wait.

Superb version of Present Tense opens proceedings and works perfectly. Save You, Animal, Green Disease and Grievance keep up the momentum. Faithfull is excellent. After Even Flow, Sleight Of Hand shows up in a fairly unusual spot and it is the first time played in the States on this leg of the tour. Not For You is fantastic and Love Boat Captain and Wishlist work well together. Help Help follows, it's the 4th time played and at this point the best version. Evolution and Alive close the main set.
The first encore begins high tempo with Go and State Of Love And Trust. After Black, the guys play a 4 minute improv that sounds very rehearsed - it's cool and has inklings of the intro Ed sometimes uses on RVM. Ironically enough the improv is followed by Rearviewmirror. The second encore starts with Soon Forget and Ed doesn't mess up on this one. He gives the crowd the opening for Betterman. A 9 minute Daughter is next - a 6 minute outro complete with harmonica here, which is great. Indifference closes out the show.

Evolution opens here, the 3rd 'unusual' opener in a row after Cropduster (Lexington) and Present Tense (St Louis). Deep is played very early on, only 4 songs in. Dissident makes it's 3rd appearance on this leg of the tour and Even Flow and Jeremy back-to-back is very good.
