Some really good moments here, opening with Sometimes and Last Exit. The run of Corduroy, Immortality, the 'Man Trilogy' (Nothingman, Betterman and Leatherman) and Grievance is really good. Breath is quality. In the encores Black and Down are highlights. Sleater-Kinney come out for Leaving Here and Rockin' In The Free World.

Love the opening salvo here - Oceans/Love Boat Captain/Breakerfall/God's Dice/Save You. A little later Light Years is dedicated to a friend of the band who has lost somebody dear. It's a really good version of Light Years and for once the intro is fucked up! Deep and Even Flow are mindblowing and Ed gives the crowd a Another Brick In The Wall tag on Daughter which they sing well. Parting Ways makes a surprising (but welcome) appearance, first time since Seattle II '00. At the end of Betterman, Ed puts in a Wild Thing tag. A storming Rearviewmirror closes the main set.
The first encore begins with a little Free Jazz before going into Small Town. Know Your Rights follows and then Bu$hleaguer makes it's 2nd appearance on this leg of the tour. Judging from the boot it is well received. Cheetah Chrome joins the band onstage for Sonic Reducer. The second encore is made up of Leaving Here, Fortunate Son and Rockin' In The Free World - all complete with Sleater-Kinney again. On Fortunate Son, Steve Earle also joins the guys on stage and it's a pretty decent performance.
Take the second encore out of this show and it's a really good boot. Unfortunately the second encore knocks it down a few marks for me, I just can't get into Sleater-Kinney!

Present Tense opener? One of the best performances of this song EVER.
One of the top boots of 2003. Love the set list too.
Listening to buffalo 13 now. It's starting off strong, but eds voice is a little rough. Still, these 2013 shows are looking to all be very good. All around a great tour.

Love Boat Captain to ease us in before Corduroy, Save You, Hail Hail & Grievance blow away any cobwebs. Even Flow & 1/2 Full back-to-back is a real highlight, really enjoyed that segment. After this, Thumbing My Way & I Am Mine slow the tempo back down, though You Are was supposed to be play inbetween but is aborted due to guitar problems. Glorified G sounds excellent again and then Present Tense is played for the first time in 2003, and first performance since Camden I '00. Animal, State Of Love And Trust and Blood bring the main set to a heavy close.
At the start of the first encore, Ed tells the crowd "we're making it up as we go along". It's quite an encore. Crown Of Thorns is played by the band for the 3rd time ever, and Brendan O'Brien plays the keys here. It's then straight into a great Black and then after a messed up start, Alive. Porch completes a fantastic encore. You've Got To Hide Your Love Away opens the second encore. Crazy Mary and Baba O'Riley follow and it's left to Yellow Ledbetter to close out the show.
