they are going to dismantle the health care law "piece by piece", not compromise on the tax cuts and may cause a government shutdown, texas wants to withdraw from medicaid, and rand paul and jim demint can not name the things they will cut....and lindsey graham says we should "neuter the (iranian) regime" with a military strike...sounds about like fixing it to me...

Sarah Palin: "How's that hopey-changey thing workin' for ya"
Mitch McConnel: "Our first priority is making sure Obama is a one-term president"

These statements are indicative of the Right's philosophy. They would rather see Obama fail, then see America succeed.
You had your 8 years. You destroyed the country. Shut up. The propaganda machine has been in full effect since Rush Limbaugh's statement from November 4th of 2008: "The Obama recession is in full swing, ladies and gentlemen. Stocks are dying, which is a precursor of things to come. This is an Obama recession. Might turn into a depression. He hasn't done anything yet but his ideas are killing the economy. His ideas are killing Wall Street." Source: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/ ... guest.html

i agree completely. you forgot about when fat rush said he "hopes obama is a failure"...one thing about the gop though, they do stick together and vote together and toe the line much better than the democrats. whether they are majority or minority party they will stand united. whether the gop is on the right side or the wrong side on an issue 99% of the time they always vote together. the dems could only wish to be so united.

I think you've nailed it right there. Pathetic.

Just remember this: If the country is "run into the ground", it happened while the Dems had the Presidency and the Senate.

If everyone here is wanting the Republicans to "fix things", their Golden Boy is going to have to allow them to.

who dumped a trillion into 2 unnecessary wars? bush
who was president during the unregulated phase where the housing bubble inflated and the banksters were doing their thing?? bush

i can do this all day electric delta. it is funny how people on your side have such a selective memory and can not recall anything that has happened prior to 1/20/09. yet you are content to blame the current guy without examining the causative factors that led to the current situation...typical...

Actually, I respect the Democrats more for not voting together. It shows that they're at least thinking for themselves, unlike the Republicans who just vote the way their party tells them to. It just further underscores how little actual thinking there is going on on the right-hand side of the aisle.
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

I believe that most of the democrats that broke rank as of late were just fighting for their political survival. I call it Spector-itis.

i am not sure how toughening abortion rights and clamping down on gay marriage is fixing it, but this should be interesting...they just can't help themselves, give them some power and they revert back to the same social issues as the last 30 years...

Is it being fixed? 192,000 new jobs in February. Lowest unemployment in 2 years (8.9%).

The unemployment rate is now at its lowest point since April 2009. It's been falling for three months, down from 9.8 percent in November, marking the sharpest three-month drop since 1983.

Didn't something change last November? Could it be? Nah ... ... ... :shh:

Enjoy and have a good weekend.

Everything is instantaneous. Yup, that's how politics works. First, the freefall of our country is all Obama's fault, and then the first sign of a "recovery" is all because of the Repubs having the House for 2 months.

Holy shit, we are blinded by our beliefs and the stubbornness of our minds.

i am sure the stimulus had nothing to do with this and the tea party's dogged promotion of spending cuts can account for the increase of jobs in the PRIVATE SECTOR...

will hannity dispute the new numbers and find a way to not give obama any credit at all? i would bet on it..

Hey, you guys demanded some immediate tea party fix'n, and a fix'n you a get'n. If this keeps up, the tea party just might save Obama's job for another four years.

Whatever the reason for the improvement in reducing unemployment, it's nice to see a positive trend. :)

it is nice to see a positive trend. i am thinking what is happening in wisconsin, ohio, and iowa, with the tea party elected republicans and what they are doing to the unions is going to pretty much guarantee another 4 years for obama.
