Flagg, did you ever think we'd see the day when we'd be reading articles like this one?

No. And this weekend's games are all sold out. Unbelievable. You used to just be able to walk up and pretty much get free tickets.

They need to stop reading the articles though. They haven't done too well lately.

who are "they"? the fans, the rangers? awkward sentence structure, dude.

    possibly a dangling participle.

Maybe the Cowboys moving to Arlington has rubbed off on the Rangers. Late season collapses are supposed to be their thing. Oh well, give somebody else a chance to go to the Series, they've had two shots.

Well, whoever the web designer for the Rangers is, he/she certainly seems to think Josh is coming back. They have Josh as the poster boy for laying down a deposit on 2013 season tickets on their website right now.

Well, the question of the day seems to be WTF went wrong these last few weeks. Yeah, I know they choked, but why.

At least maybe I won't have to hear about Game 6 of the WS for a while.

I don't watch a whole lot of baseball until the playoffs, so I can't really tell you what went wrong with the Rangers. But the last 3 seasons (twice in the WS and once last night) they keep running into these underdog teams (who nobody expected to make the playoffs) going on fantastic runs. They always get matched up with the Cinderella team, and those teams are dangerous, because what they may or may not lack in skill they make up for with emotion and adrenaline.

Other than that, maybe the Rangers got a little too comfortable in first. Everybody thought they had first place locked, and I guess they did too. But you have to finish the season strong. But I don't think that's all there was too it, because last night when it was do or die, they didn't. But I think they may have been deflated after that collapse, the way they looked deflated in Game 7 of the WS last year after Game 6. OK, now we're done talking about Game 6, but they seemed to have that same look on their faces last night.

Like I said, I don't watch a whole lot of regular season baseball, that's just my observations though.
