Things you'll never understand

  • I'll never understand why when you are approaching a door on one side (let's say the outside) and someone else approaches on the opposite (let's say the inside) you reach to open it and go in and the approaching person just barges right through like you are the doorman or something, practically knocking you down. I'm talking you have to step out of their way so they can get through the door you just opened to walk through yourself. I want to yell "Thanks, come again!" There is usually a bank of like 10 doors, why can't they choose another one!

Question: On a tie at a 4-way stop, who has the right of way between you and a car north of you making a left-hand turn (your right)? I assume it would be you since you're going straight, but not everyone seems to agree on this.

the car going straight has the right-of-way...the person turning left must yield

The person to the right has the right of way, at least that is how we roll here in TN.

Why, when I'm walking down a very wide hallway (and am on the correct side of the hallway and only occupying a very small amount of space) do people walking the other direction insist on walking nearly into me instead of utilizing the other 80% of the walk space.

The best is when you get someone who brushes by you. It occurs to me to throw a shoulder into them often. But I never do...

Speaking of that, I'll never understand why it is the duty of men to make certain the seat is always down so the ladies don't get wet asses. I never sit my ass anywhere without looking where it's going first. But that's just me I guess

    Yes, yes it would...

and besides, putting things where you might want them at a moments notice collides with the very female trait of 'putting things away' (ie. tidying them to the point that we ourselves can't remember where we 'tidied' them to... )

how someone can declare to be an animal lover, not a animal hoarder but an animal rescuer and then go out black bear hunting and shoot and kill black bears.

why women can own a collection of CDs and not put them into alphabetical order.

    why women wear mis-matched underwear.

    1. Because it silly.
    2. For me, I change my knickers more than my bra so I would have to buy more than one pair of matching knickers, which is silly.
    3. Have absolutely no idea.

Why people at a crowded place (like a sporting event, fair, outdoor market etc) when they see someone they know, they suddenly stop, make the person they know come OUT into the flow of people traffic and stand there and gab away while the rest of the people have to figure out how to get around the 'road block'. Hello? we all know this is annoying, get it in your head, 'step OUT of the way of people traffic' it will run so much more smoothly!

People who do not know how to drive strollers, when it's crowded, it is not necessary to continue to give me 'flat tires' on my shoes while you are 'tailgaiting' me. If I could go faster, I would, but ramming the stroller on my ankles will earn you a nasty stink eye, and an 'old lady walk' from me. Also, do not think it's cute to let your 5 year old drive the stroller when it's crowded either.....it snot.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
