I dunno about that. Williams showed that he isn't a starting LT in the NFL. He was pretty solid at LG last year. I dont know what it is about Webb, but Tice absolutely loves that guy.0 -
RT @MarkPotash The Bears just signed a guy who scored 13 TDs from inside the 5 the past 2 years. Matt Forte scored 1. Any further questions?
i LOVE this signing bc id rather take a guy who averages 3.9 ypc and scores 10 tds vs someone who averages 4.7 ypc and scores 2 tds. #pointswingames0 -
Forte is pissed0

Good move. Don't want our best defensive player pissed off about his contract going into this season.0 -

I am a die hard Giants fan who was thinking that the Saints would represent the NFC in this year's Super Bowl before the scandal broke. I know its way too early (before draft) and this may be a longshot but I am starting to think Chicago will be my preseason pick.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

I do believe if the Bears stay healthy, they should easily contend. Not sure about a number 1 preseason pick though. While they were 7-3, pre-injury and with a bonehead offensive coordinator last year, and have made some nice moves in the offseason...the NFC North is going to be a tough division next year...with the exception of the Vikings of course.
My NFC top 10 preseason power rankings:
1) Packers
2) 49ers
3) Falcons
4) Bears
5) Giants
6) Lions
7) Eagles
8) Saints
9) Cowboys
10) Seahawks0 -
Schedule to be released tonight....looking forward to planning next year's Bears trip. Hoping that the timing works out for Nashville.0

i think the 49ers slip next year. too many things went right this year for them.
I 'd also move up the saints. even without payton, they'll still have a potent offense.

Yeah, you're probably right about the Saints. Other than Atlanta, their division is pretty weak.0 -
