As much as anyone dislikes the guy

He brings 'it' to golf. Love watching him and rooting for a grandstand finish tomorrow

His luck on 15th yesterday was terribly bad, but he's in the hunt

I don't dislike him and haven't stopped cheering for him even when all the shit on started to go down. I'm pulling for him today and hope he can mount a monster Comeback today which we all know he can. Should be a great finish today and hope Tiger gets his 5th Greeen Jacket :)

If it wasn't for the unlucky pin bounce, Tiger would most likely be tied for the lead right now.

I think I would end up shooting around a 170 at Augusta ... and that's with some gimmies and foot wedges included ...

let me know when he wins the next major.

As far as i can tell, in tiger world, thats the ONLY thing that matters to him, and most of his fans. Him winning some tournament during the year means nothing. What do most people care about in terms of tiger winning? What does tiger himself care about most?

Am I wrong or am I wrong here folks?

We've since this every year since he came back. People salivate and act like he's back and time and time again, he doesnt win a major.

He cant win a major. Flat out. As I said, text me when the time comes that he does win it. I wont be holding my breath.

Like clock work, you show up. As always you show your incredible sports knowledge. Why aren't we hearing stories about his personal life?

I do find it funny that you show up saying he's never going to win a major after he takes an 8 on a hole. Congrats, good call, genius.

Do us all a favor and go away

And your sports knowledge is just as credible. Have we met? Seems quite presumptuous of you to tell me my views on sports arent credible without you personally knowing who i am.

If that was the criteria no one would discuss this. I assume no one on here has actually played a real PGA tour event much less a major. And I assume even fewer have actually played the golf courses in question.

Well I think you're right on some points and not even close on others. I agree that Tiger cares most about the majors. But to say it's all he cares about doesn't make sense because he's certainly not going out there in regular tournaments treating them like practice rounds for majors. Could a tournament at Bay Hill prepare you for the Open Championship? No. Also, he doesn't hold the record for most overall PGA Tour wins. He has 77 to Sam Snead's 82. I'm sure he wants that record.

And to say "He cant win a major. Flat out." I dunno. Didn't he place 4th in the Masters right after his incident? And didn't he place 4th the next year? Some guys have played this tournament dozens of times and never made the top-10. Heck, some have never made the cut. And Tiger, at the lowest point in his life, placed 4th like it was nothing. And while I don't see him coming back today. I can see another top-10 finish. A fuck-up here and a fuck-up there will cost you in these tournaments and it's gonna cost him this time. But it's not like he's 8-over like Phil. He'll be fine. 18 majors? Maybe, maybe not. But I'd bet anything on him winning at least one more in his career. At least...

This is what I don't get about some New Yorkers. If you live on the other side of the Hudson and your opinion doesn't jive with theirs, then you are some sort of retard and they feel like they must insult you to make themselves feel superior. How in the fuck can someone say the number 1 player in the world cannot win a major when the 273rd ranked player in the world has a chance today? Anyone who says the number 1 player in the world is incapable of winning a major clearly knows nothing about golf. Period, it's just a fact.

    Tiger is out of it.

Let's go Snedeker. Don't want Stevie to get this, so can't cheer for Scott. Caberea would be a pretty cool story, but I gotta go with an American.

If Tiger loses by 2 he will have taken the same number of swings as the winner, but of course, he FLAT OUT, cannot in a major.
