i don't mind a player not getting a 100% of the vote. Only if that vote goes to another worthy player. Maybe someone who's on the line like a Jack Morris or Don Mattingly for example. Both are not eligible anymore though. I think they can only get in through the veterans commitee. (I think they changed the name)

There are already several steroid guys in. But they played jn,a time when,steroids were "legal."

Here are a few that I believe have done steroids. Many of these guys are players that I idolized as a kid:

Rickey Henderson
Cal RipKen Jr
Dave Winfield
Dennis Eckersly
Craig Biggie
Mike Piazza

Ok. That's my point. The steroid era in baseball is no different the different era that led to rule changes. Like the mound being lowered in the 60same because pitching flat out dominated. Or making the spit ball illegal. Of mandating where pine tar can and can't be on a bat. It's just part of the game.

Mark McGuire never tested positive either. A ROD didn't. I know they admitted their use, but their numbers make them hall of famers. I'm even ok with the museum having a steroid era section. The guys that tested positive or admitted to use can be put in that section.

Rumored list to boot, that has not been made public. And it's not going to be either, so no one knows for sure(except A-Rod because he did admit to doing steroids during that time).

You know, i smoked a joint in 2003, and got real high too, but i haven't smoked since. Am i still high today?>LOL

You overuse LOL a lot.There was a leaked list. So if ARod didn't admit after his name was leaked. Would he be given the same treatment? I wouldn't be surprised if Ortiz was using now. But he is liked.

seeing one pitcher for four or five consecutive AB's is a pretty big deal. or would you rather see KC's 7-8-9 guys?

Who knows if A-Rod would've been given the same treatment. As it turns out it wouldn't have mattered as he was suspended for the 2014 season.

Yeah, i wouldn't be surprised if Ortiz was using now. Though, i wouldn't be surprised if any player was using.

How is that even an argument? Middle reliever wasn't even a term used in baseball until the 70s. And how can you fault a player that played in an Era that didn't have any teams west of St Louis?

Barry failed the same test that was supposed to be confidential as Sloppi did. Barry was convicted only of obstruction of justice for not answering a question after the Balco scandal. That conviction was later over turned on appeal. Sloppi should not get into HOF until after Bonds does. Sloppi has had a great career, Bonds had a top 5 player ever career.
