I don't think any team is all that great in the NFC East...imo...and the eagles shedule is almost identical to the cowboys when broken down over the course of the seseon.

It was an ugly game...what the announcers missed (i think) was on that field goal Romo was trying to call a timeout in which Dallas had none, is that not a unsportsmanlike penalty?

I thought the D was bad today...I never understood why they did not start dropping linebackers in coverage to take away the middle of the field.

A win is a win and sometimes you have to win games like this and this was Dallas vs Washington and we all know this game never plays out the way we think it will.

Edit: Romo calling timeout when none was available would have been 5 yards.

I had to listen to the game today as I was driving out of time but the radio announcers did catch that Romo was trying to get a timeout when he didn't have one. What a bizarre sequence.

I swear it doesn't matter what the records are when these two teams play. Crazy shit happens every time.

Need the Eagles to hold on to this one. Keep banging Eli around.

I called 11 wins for the Cowboys this year and I am sticking with that.

Thats what the announcers said, when these teams get together you might as well toss the records out.

That was strange timeout on the field goal attempt. This was the game that I could have seen them losing...sometimes you have to win these games.

I just didn't think the D had a very good game...made Grossman look like a pro bowler today.

    Bring on Miami on.

All that crying should be conducted in the Eagles thread, thanks 8-)

the eagles should have been way better than anyone in this whole division this year.

    god damn it! :x

Why? You are what you are...at this moment your team is 3-6...you don't win divisions on paper.

    I highly doubt you'll win a championship with Vick...imo

Vick had a above average year last year and turned it into a mega contract...just what a lot of athletes do...great year in last year of contract mega payday...might leave you guys with cap issues down the road.

why? they're one of the worst coached teams in the league. way too much talent to be as bad as they've been. just sloppy football each and every week.

and only about 35M or 40M of vick's contract is guaranteed. they can get out of it in a couple years if need be. same thing with how they structured most of those other contracts this past summer. the eagles cap situation is never something i'll be concerned with.

just pissed with how things have gone this year. i still don't think the cowboys are that good. they'll still probably get to 10 wins with that schedule though. giants aren't world beaters either.

    poop.

The Eagles have trouble holding onto leads...4th quarter has been brutal for them, hopefully they change things tonight.

Things really fell into place the past couple of week. After being the only NFC East team to get a win last week we got to watch The Giants choke one away to the Eagles!

Does this Cowboy D look like it's regressing? 2 weeks in a row it looks like Washington and Miami's O could do what they want.

A win is a win, but this team continues to prove they are not good. They will go nowhere in the playoffs playing like this. (I am a Giants fan and I think the same about them).

Unless Dallas gets matched up agains 3-7 teams in the playoffs

I keep hearing about this "winning streak", but not one of those 4 teams has a winning record (the best is 5-5) and two are 3-7 teams.

Dallas' 4 Game winning streak is against opponents with a combined 15-25 record, not counting Miami losing today.

Same as last week...a win is win...Romo got off to a Rocky start, but I liked how he stopped the bleeding, settled down and lead them on some nice drives. That 2nd half scoring drive lead by Romo was impressive.

This offense really needs Austin back healthy...it seems they moved the ball best throwing to Witten, Murray and Robinson...you would think that Bryant would understand the O a little better by now.

We should be concerned about the D...gave up only 19 points but allowed Miami to move the ball to easy.

I agree right now they aren't good...after the break they should get back Austin, Jenkins, Sensenbaugh, Tony F and the others will get healed up. It's apparent to me that this O really needs Austin. With Jenkins back, Scandrick can go back to nickel corner, Ball does not leave me oozing in confidence.

Overall this team does seem to be good...if all the starters are healthy this team is much better, they have poor depth...which comes from poor drafting over the last few years.

Now Jason's first draft might produce 3 starters...Murray, Smith and Carter, then getting Baily so Jason first year might have been one of the more productive off seasons in recent memory. Now if he can duplicate that next year, then I think the Boys are headed in the right direction.

Laurent Robinson: One INT on me

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Laurent Robinson is a smart receiver.

If his production isn’t evidence enough, consider his willingness to let the world know when he makes a mistake that leads to an interception.

That has happened twice this season. Robinson fell on the sword for letting Detroit cornerback Chris Houston cross his face on a slant for a pick-six. Robinson also took the blame for Tony Romo’s second interception Thursday.

Miami cornerback Sean Smith’s interception was caused by miscommunication. Without prompting, Robinson mentioned that he didn’t run the right route on the play.

“I was supposed to stop right there, but I was reading something on the run and thought I was supposed to go deep,” Robinson said. “I made a bad play. I’ve got to get better.”

Of course, catching a couple of touchdown passes later in the game is a pretty good way to get forgiveness from the franchise quarterback.

We as fans got to quit blaming Romo for everything on offense that goes wrong.

I think if Austin comes back healthy and stays healthy this offense will start to be a lot more consistent. Romo is what he is...he'll make the dumb play but then he'll have really good clutch drives like the 2nd half TD and the game winning drive. 1 thing for sure he is the best QB Dallas has had since Aikman.

This team just need to plug some holes...

Stranger things have happened in the play-offs....

Seattle 1 a playoff game last year and they were not particularly good...

But for the most part I agree this team will probably not go far...they need a to be better on D...they need a shutdown corner so they don't need to blitz so much.

I agree with both of these statements. Most people place the blame on Romo because he's an easy target, but the receivers(Dez in particular) need to run better routes.

Here's an interesting thought: Win against Arizona next week, Giants lose to the Aints and the Pack. Bam! we play the Giants in what might prove to be the clincher for this division.

But....the D needs to pick up the pace or all this will be for naught because we'll get steamrolled by the Pack in the playoffs...

Giants lose tonight and that is two straight weeks where the other three NFC East teams lost while the Cowboys won.

I said it earlier and I still believe 11-5. They've got Arizona, Tampa, Philly and NY twice. They lose one of the Giants games.

This was a good week for the Cowboys...they won, and a lot of the teams in a fight for playoff spots lost, now if the Giants lose it'll be a great week.
