It does look like we found a field goal kicker...the D has to step up...this is where Brady is so very good.

That coach is more the problem than Romo...those 2 running plays had no chance...none...if you can't trust your QB to drop back and complete 10 yard pass's....somethings wrong.

The D played well...but they don't play well when it counts...

If Jones thinks this team is real good...I want some of what he's smokin'.

That head coach does not impress me in the least...he did not impress me as the OC and he's just another yes man for Jerry. I suspect Jerry will be conducting interviews in his pajamas in a few years.

I don't think you could ask the defense to do anything more than what they did today. It was the offense that didn't get it done, couldn't score TDs in the red zone, couldn't run out the clock at the end. I do think this is a good team, definitely some holes but have you seen the NFC East this year? They could still be the best team in the division. I'm not impressed with Garrett either, been some very questionable decisions already this season.

The D played well for most of the day...but needed to shut them down in the end. To me this is a 7-8 win team at best. The Offensive skill players can only do so much...that O line is terrible...penalty after penalty.

Maybe I'm mis reading this team, but this is just not a good team.

I really don't think this team will win consistantly with Jones running the team.

I still think that this team needs a real GM.....one not named Jones.....come on Jerry, if Felix Jones had been from any university not named Arkansas would you have wasted a draft pick on him...one word for him....fragile!...and don't get me started on the Roy Williams trade....Detroit robbed you like you once did Minnesota

Couldn't agree with you more...as long as Jones is the GM they are doomed...

I'd like to add to it...with Jason's job as OC would most teams have promoted him?

How about the performance of the O line over the last several years?

    Why keep Houke?

    How bout' Campo?

This team has issues...until they hire a GM who has complete control this team will continue to have issues.

I suspect that Jones and Garrett had a "gentleman's agreement" when Jason didn't take offers from other teams when he was the "hot young coach."

According to his remembrance of Al Davis in Sports Illustrated, Jerry has been receiving advice for years from Al Davis....that would have been good advice anytime before about 1990...last ten years, not good advice.

As long as he's alive Jones will never give up control. I think the best you will see is him hire some sort of puppet GM to shut people up about how shitty of a job he does and to take the heat off of him, but he'll always call the shots. Jones has too big of an ego to EVER admit that anybody could do a better job than him, or knows football better than him. Cowboys fans just have to hang in there until Jones passes away and hope that his son is a little smarter than him.

Jason Garrett should not be a head coach in this league, at least not yet. But Jones has groomed him to be his yes man, he's one of Jones' cronies, and Jones paid him all that money to stay as the OC when Phillips was head coach, so he kind of backed himself into a corner. He was paying him a head coaches salary when he was just calling the offense. I would imagine that somebody should at least shine as an OC before being promoted to head coach, but Garrett didn't even do that. The most impressive thing on his resume is from his playing days when he won 1 game back in 1994 after the first and second string quarterbacks were injured and he got the start.

Yup...good teams don't constantly commit stupid penalties...lining up offside on the kickoff...Spencer running into the kicker, oh boy the list is just endless.

But Jones will spin it into "we almost beat a team many predict will be in the SB".

As much as I hate to say it, I think Felix Jones should be our 3rd stringe back. TC and Murray both seem to hit the hole harder.

The o line will improve next year everybody wants to blame Jones or Garrett there not the one making the plays out there yes you have to put your players in the best situation to be effective. Sometimes those players have to improv there way thru a play cause everything is moving so fast!
Lets tap the breaks on Garrett, Jones will be Jones haven't seen him on the field yet thats a plus.
Its these growing pains now that will make them better cause there past drafts have just been terrible!
Jones to blame there. They are the third best team in the division rt now, that could change next week.
If we go out and just play football just play smart and do what GB did today just put a ass kicking.
Funny just thought of something Rangers and St Louis this ought to be a fun week for these 4 franchises alot of people will be talking about these 2 cities this week.
Back to the boys everyone is at fault that put on a helmet with a star on the side but they will improve I am
just worried about our running game Murray did impress me a little after felix hurt his left ear or whatever it was this week. He plays scared You cant play in the NFL if your scared! u just cant
I see at best 8 and 8 cause coming off a bye week if you dont win I forget the stat but very seldom do teams make the playoffs if they do not win there game after the bye week.
I will still watch every game as I always do I bleed silver and blue always have since the year of the catch in 82 when I was 7 and cried like a little girl. I won't jump ship just yet but I just want to see improvement from week to week and maybe we got a shot at a playoff very unlikely but always hope this is a crazy league. Our schedule is in our favor, the Giants got a hard row to hoe. If Romo would get the ball to Dez more that would open up more options like running the ball, lets see what Murray can do there will be growing pains but at least he doesnt play scared and if the o line just gets better and if Romo does not make stupid throws there is still hope for this season. If they loose next week might be time to start to panic and you know steven jackson loves playing the cowboys cause we chose, no we traded down for spears and the other jones.
wish we had a do over there.
anyways gotta win against St Louis a blowout win at that, so that would be 10 points or more if were lucky. I gotta stop I could go on all night "got all night why be content to just get by got all night"
I cant stand that Detroit coach if he isn't a wanna be look at me puppet Who will be lucky to have a head coaching job in two years I dont know who coaches that team but it aint him, thats one good thing about Garrett he has class winning or loosing watch he will have these boys ready to play next week, you know rex will, we need more energy from the offense. anybody maybe its Murray lets hope!
    until next time......

Stupid penalties and the fumble by Tashard Choice really hurt yesterday. But...we still had a chance down the stretch and our defense didn't get it done. However, it's not easy to stop Brady and the Patriots on a game-winning drive.

I thought our D played well overall. Offense needs to score td's around the redzone. Hopefully, we continue to get better and learn from this game. Losing by 4 points to the Patriots is not bad. It was tough to swallow though since we were right there at the end...

The Boys are still the best team in the NFC East and should be able to put together a nice string of wins playing sub par teams the next 3 weeks.
