Yes indeed, the females are far from blameless - they should not give in to this bullshit. But that is obviously easier said than done this day and age.

That's nuts. The internet is subterfuge, a facade. No way these mouth breathers would say such a thing to an actual live woman, and perhaps even less of a chance that these losers are ever blessed enough to have a woman disrobe in their presence.

That being said, I don't interact on social media--unless this counts.

Also, most of the women in my life don't give a fuck about what piece-of-shit knuckle-dragging goons on the internet think. Anyone who does has a fucking screw loose as it is.

well, I don't know if that's fair. a lot of women are incredibly insecure for a variety of reasons, and somehow end up with the aforementioned mouth breathers as partners who take advantage of their low self worth. it doesn't mean they have a screw loose.

Incredibly insecure for a variety of reasons = a screw loose in my opinion. I guess that phrase has negative connotations, but what it means to me is mental/emotional/behavioral problem for which someone likely needs professional help. I don't mean it as an insult. Most people I know (myself included) have a fucking screw loose.

I couldn't resist.] The local weekly paper has full-page ads for something called "feminine rejuvenation" and the "O-shot" (google it yourselves), which you can get at the same time as your labiaplasty or vaginoplasty (sp?). I will let someone take a scalpel to my labia right after my husband gets a scrotal lift, and not a moment before.

Anyone who isn't thrilled to be anywhere near that part of me in its current state doesn't deserve to be there.

A number of years ago, I saw a TED talk about the effects of internet pornography on men's ideas of what women should look like. The speaker was using breasts as her example (spoiler: breasts don't naturally occur as gravity-defying hemispheres), but obviously  the same concept applies to the rest of women's bodies, too.
