I can't believe that they could not find a venue in New England for the TBD show. Even though the TD Garden is unavailable due to the Celtics & Bruins in the playoffs there are plenty of other venues in and around Boston along with Providence, RI, Manchester, NH, Foxwoods Casino in CT or Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. :x
I understand what your are saying,but you have 2 shows in New England.Hartford,Ct 05.15 and Boston 05.17.Both shows still have seats.Any diehards got tix.I know behind the stage is only left,but PJ has an open stage.I drove 100 miles to Philly from NYC for the 10.28.09 show and sat behind the stage.Sec 220 row 15.I loved the gig.There were only 10 rows..not 15..so I really had 5th row.EV and the band turned to us many times,and even sang Last Kiss to my section.I would rather sit there, then straight away center,you are much closer to the band rear view.I really think that since those 2 shows are still not sold out,I guess the band felt a 3rd gig in NY/NJ area was the way to go.I just hope the Newark show sells out.Peace,and good luck getting tix.
I think the band needs to go back to the old way of selling 10 c tickets. Mail in your self addressed stamped envelope and tickets are based on seniority. Between smart phones, computers and ipods that have internet access, someone could have multiple ways to try for presale tickets and they are just bogging up the system. Not to mention all the scalpers out there buying then selling tickets for 10 times the cost of a ticket.
Didn't score tickets for MSG thru either presale but was lucky enough to get tix during ticketmaster sale. Not even trying for Newark. Don't want to go there and maybe someone who was not so lucky to get MSG tix at all will have a chance.
Any chance the band might come back to Jones Beach???

i got mine despite 10Cs best efforts to prevent me from getting them. and i got both MSGs. im still mad i had to wait in the penalty box for 2 hours while the shitty team scored goals

nope - i was able to get right at 3 pm and checked out immediately. went back to look and thats when it was temp out of stock. consider myself lucky. with msg though it would eventually go from temp oos to buy, so keep trying. that's how i was able to get to both msgs even though it took almost 3 hrs.
my only complaint was...
we didn't get enough warning! some of us are a bit broke and it woulda been nice to have more time to find the funds available ...:)
I have definitely had trouble getting tickets since the system changed up, but today I logged right in and got tix quickly. Thanks to Ten Club for hooking this up and giving those of us who struck out for this tour another chance! So excited for May now :-)

It took me 15 minutes of refreshing while "temp out of stock", then 5 more minutes with the "BUY" button sending me to the unavailable page and finally got them.
Single web browser and single account, just use Ctrl + R to refresh and if you get the unavailable page at any stage, use the "back" button and retry
If you really want to be there, do not quit until it says SOLD OUT.

its not due to the playoffs-the arenas know the potential schedule and are free to book certain dates-they dont shut down booking concerts just because of the playoffs
you are assuming the band wanted to find another venue to do another show in NE when two are not sold out
I think that they waited for a sell out in Boston and then booked NJ when it didnt
besides Newark makes more sense when they do letterman on the 19th

I had the purchase screen with the "buy" button exposed at like 2:57 EST, clicked it, it told me I couldn't add them to my cart b/c of the MSG ones I'd gotten, then tried again @ 2:59 (same result), and again at 3:00 and proceeded as normal with the purchase. No locking up, no delays, no refreshes...I was in and out in like 4 mins start to finish. Easy and painless...
And for the record, I only have 10C for MSG2 and had to settle for tix to MSG1...but hey at least I'll be at all three (plus Hartford).

I joined couple months after u.I have been a fan since the start,but never joined.Im just happy that I got seats.If they r upstairs i dont care..im there.

this is my argument to that, it seems scalpers always find ways to get tickets, and some good seats from ticketbastard. this is all ticketbastard fault if you ask me, 10c cant get as many seats maybe i hear as they used to , because of new ticketmaster alotment rules as well. remember riot act anyone could get a pair for any show pretty much no problem, and even before that when everyone was only limit to one show that was fair too. this doesnt seem fair if i get shut out 2 out of 3 times for ny city/newark shows. do you think there will be tickets left at noon hour? i dont have good feeling about newark fan club hope i get them though
cause otherwise the only way is through scalpers, cause you know to get a pair from ticketmaster all will be left is some nosebleed 300 seats for $200. they need new rule or do what they used to and have moe 10c tickets.

Not to mention there are 3 good bars in the arena that are usually only open to season ticket holders. This will be a fun show for me. I've been waiting for this.
I don't live in Newark, but I am about 15 minutes away. It is not a very nice town except for a few places. The arena is just on the edge of some pretty rough parts. Is it still legal to run a red light if you think you might get carjacked? Seriously, this was something that was somewhat common back in the day.
