It's gonna be funny watching people who can't figure out how to get tickets, struggle to get tickets during their two hour head start.

    VERY NICE!

i think it's damn cool that anyone who got shut out of MSG has first shot at these tix, and i say this as someone with tix to MSG, so it's of no benefit to me. just yet again illustrates, imo anyway, how this band and 10c work for their fans.

i actually have no plans on even going to the show - but awesome that it was added in this area, b/c you know it'll sell out and i hope more fans get in!

I can't believe that they could not find a venue in New England for the TBD show. Even though the TD Garden is unavailable due to the Celtics & Bruins in the playoffs there are plenty of other venues in and around Boston along with Providence, RI, Manchester, NH, Foxwoods Casino in CT or Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. :x

It is so nice for the ten club to do this....... that being said, I will not try to get tix for this show. Just walking around in Newark would jeopardize my chances of a healthy summer. I can't take the chance. I'll see you all in Hartford and Boston...... BTW, Night of the living dead was filmed in Newark......

I liked the post when the tickets for this tour first started going on sale saying "what part of the website do I go to to get tickets" and complaining that Ten Club started selling an hour early, because the user couldn't figure out how to convert the time zone. In the time it took that person to come to the forum and type out a post, they could have figured out where to buy the tickets (goods, aka the link that was included in the tour announcement) or click on the "time zone converter" link that ten club always includes too. You just don't go into a public forum and admit that you can't subtract the right amount of hours from the east coast to the west coast.

Perhaps, but some of us who got shut out do know how to tell time and where the ticket sales are located on the PJ website, and spent six hours hitting "refresh" in vain, anyway.

The band did the right thing here. They obviously know how fast the 2 MSG shows sold out.The tix went in a feeding frenzy.I grabbed 2 tix in the second ticketmaster/10c presale.Again, they had to have a SECOND presale because of the demand.Last Oct.in Philly ,the first 2 shows that went on sale (28 and 30) sold out very fast.I got lucky and scored seats for the 28th Oct show. They added 2 more shows, one being the wild amazing marathon 10.31.gig.This is not a slap at Boston. But,I feel, you should have a second gig,if the 1st show is sold out.As we ALL know, that is NOT the case.I believe the band thought the first show, in Boston ,WAS going to sell out.Since it didnt, why add another show? Peace..and good luck getting tix. :D

Doubt i'll get the pre sale since I got one for MSG (plus I'm working the day of the pre sale).

Didn't look yet, but any idea when tix go on sale for the public?

Got shut out of both MSG shows, live 45 mins from Newark. Saw Metallica at this venue last year. Very nice place with food that was way better than you would expect at a rock show. Arrive early to secure parking if you drive. I will be there around 5 to get a close spot and chill before the show. Heavy police presence will deter any bad behavior by us or Newrak residents. Don't walk around with open beers etc. This show is a gift :)

Yes, yes it is Andrew. A gift I will happily receive. The 2 hour headstart is no guarantee, but it definitely helps. Good luck to everyone ;)

  • so what are the chances of the Newark show selling out in the first two hours? I am blocked from buying till noon and I really want to get 10 club tickets for this show too since I will already be touring with the band. I am unfamiliar with the ticket sales history for Newark shows? Any words appreciated...

hopefully this will be my birthday gift to myself since tomorrow is my bday, i hope to score some tix since I as many got shutout for tickets to MSG, this beats driving to the city paying the tolls, tunnel, the NYC parking fees, etc. so happy they decided to play in my home state only a half hour drive for me and thanks for the 2 hour head start, that kicks ass!!!! good luck everyone and especially me. just kidding!

They never played The Pru. Eddie played NJPAC.
I would say you should be able to score after 3. People might be hesitant to go to Newark due to unfamiliarity.
I'm in need of tickets, too but have to wait my turn. I live 20 minutes so I'm hoping I can get em.
    Good luck.

I have been a fan club member since 1993 and have pretty much gone through every ticketing policy 10C has ever had and have never complained. Up until 2003, we were only allowed one set of fan club tickets per tour so for those of us who have always done multiple shows we had to get our tickets the old fashioned way: Ticketmaster or ticketing agencies when we got shut out. I never complained because that was policy and way of life with pj tours. In recent tours, the amount of complaints and negative energy directed towards the band regarding their ticketing policy is out of control.

10C sets up ticketing policies before the tour and we are all aware of it. I find it ridiculous that 10C feels the need to change presale policy when ticket distribution has always been "are first-come, first-serve, while supplies last."
  • congrats newark!

  • JW0422JW0422 Posts: 170
I hope you are right because that would mean I probably would get my tickets, I hope so anyway! this is so cool I was expecting another show in the boston are since everyone on the forum thought so, I am happy they decided to play NYC area for three shows, that is awesome, only complaint is I wish there would have been more than one day notice to try for tickets guess I will have to leave work early to try, hope its my lucky day.

    I called Newark!!!
  • Now would be a good time to be someone who scored for both MSG's and knows someone who got shut out but is only seeking 1 ticket to NJ.

Also, if there are good looking and like to party that doesn't hurt either. :P :P :P
  • wow they listen, i suggest this venue and they play it wow

only thing sucks, is presale for first 2 hours is only for people who didnt get any pair for msg? i got night 1 tickets fan club, but night 2 sold out on me. so i only got 1 10c pair for 2 msg nights, now i cant buy newark until noon hour? kind of stupid if you ask me its another city, and it fuckin gonna sell out within 2 hours? then we all gonna have to go through ticketbastard

the only city worse than newark in the continental US is philadelphia
  • They can hit Newark but not Detroit?

    Now I am offended.

OK, MAYBE a dumb question/s: but how can the 10C know if you ALREADY has a MSG ticket BEFORE tomorrows Newark sale? You know someone will try. I guess, if/when someone gets tickets, thats when the 10C will know, and then have to put the tickets back up for sale?

Bought a 10C ticket for MSG makes you ineligble for the first two hours of the presale tomorrow. who cares if you bought MSG through TM. This is about those who got shutout for 10C MSG tix.

    Any help?

Likely they have some sort of program set up within the system to block these people. who knows. AT least they're trying for those who got shut out.

  • Very upset about only having one Boston show to go to (I know, I shouldn't complain since some cities never get shows). At the very least, I hope that the band makes the May 17th show EPIC!!

This is like OBAMA is running the 10C now. so if you suck at using a computer and acquiring tickets, like normal people can, they will now aid you in succeeding. If your successful you will now be taxed a 2 hour wait for tickets. Real nice!, the lazy and stupid prevail yet again.

I got my 2 sets for MSG, and not only did i get my 2 sets for MSG, my friend had called me and was stuck at work, gave me his info and i was also able to get 2 sets of MSG for him. So this is where i find it very hard to believe that i was able to get 2 sets for each show while some didnt get one? im no computer genius, nothing special, no super computers here, just a simple laptop. So I really find this hard to believe that I am being handicapped now for being successful.

therein lies one of the problems here, the ability to get seats for multiple shows for a "minitour" , less shows on a tour = less available 10C seats with a growing 10c membership.

decreased supply vs. a greater demand.

Yea, i know this about those who got shutout, which is KOOL by me. I just was curious how they can stop someone trying to get Tixs anyway. MAYBE they do have a program set up to block them.
