we took my sons to the local "lake". we bought one of these one-use disposable charcoal grills for $5. It worked like a charm for the burgers and hot dogs. We also watched while these latino families came and cooked a massive amount of delicious smelling meat and vegetables on their grills - they know how to grill! They had pounds of marinated meat covering the grill, then added huge onions, peppers and a ton of mushrooms. Made us feel like we were breaking some kind of grilling rules...

We also discussed investing in a proper charcoal grill.

it's nice to just hang out in the house and cook. somedays i am just to frickin wore the hell out to drag out the grill, scrape the rack, dump charcoal in the thing, soak coals with gasoline, fire it up, set rack back on grill, wash hands, form hamburger patties, then all the other shit one has w/ bbq.

    it's a fucking chore.

one day soon i'm cookin breakfast bbq style or just maybe on a campfire.

been a coon's age since i camped & threw some new york strips on the fire all bright & early some morning while coffee percolates in the coleman coffee maker

i guess life aint so fucking bad after all
