    Yes. I fired up the gas grill for the first time in 2011 tonight.
    Cherry tomatoes, red onion and mushrooms-charred and dressed with olive oil, balsamic and sea salt.
    TENDERLOIN. Sliced thin on skewers for the kids-teriyaki style. Sliced thick with a Japanese garnish-soy-sake-yuzu butter for the adults. I know, not the most flavorful cut, but man, oh so tender and nice.

    And a nice bottle of Jordan cabernet (a la Eddie) to accompany the steak.

    Desert? Nah. Cant eat sweets after that fat fest :lol::lol: maybe some prunes :lol::lol::lol:

    Grilled some nice, thick ribeyes last Wednesday for the first time grilling since last summer. Man, I had missed using my grill. Nice to be able to get back to grilling out!!!

    Nothing wrong with Tenderloin. That is some good shit.

    they must have brought in some good cows this week. i had a strip that was absolutly killer. i said the same thing about it beign one of the best steaks i've ever had.

    steakhouses can't hold a candle to what i can muster up on the ol grill

    maiden voyage was a successful one. just went burgers and dogs with some onions and peppers.

    but the burgers were oozing with blue cheese that i stuffed in the middle. definite crowd pleaser.

    looking forward to getting more crafty this week. got some strips for either tuesday or wednesday night.

    grilling season is officially underway boys and girls :mrgreen: :thumbup: :thumbup:

    that's "espresso." :mrgreen: . first choice would have been copper but i would have had to wait a few days longer and i had the family over yesterday. color's no bid deal though.
