mccoy's on pace to have one of the best season's ever for a rb in his 3rd season (with significantly less carries than anyone else on this list). long way to go but still...:
LeSean McCoy is on pace to set an Eagles record with 1,517 rushing yards in a season. The third-year running back would eclipse Wilbert Montgomery's 1979 mark of 1,512 rushing yards, also set in his third season. McCoy, however, is projected to have significantly fewer carriers than Montgomery's 338. There is still a lot of football to be played, but if McCoy maintains his current pace he will rank right up there with the highest rushing totals for tailbacks in their third season. Here is where he would rank:
Player, team Year No. Yds. Avg. TDs
Jamal Lewis, Baltimore 2003 387 2,066 5.3 14
Earl Campbell, Houston 1980 373 1,934 5.2 13
Walter Payton, Chciago 1977 339 1,852 5.5 14
Terrell Davis, Denver 1997 369 1,750 4.7 15
Larry Johnson, Kansas City 2005 336 1,750 5.2 20
Emmitt Smith, Dallas 1992 373 1,713 4.6 18
Barry Foster, Pittsburgh 1992 390 1,690 4.3 11
LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego 2003 313 1,645 5.3 13
Deuce McAllister, New Orleans 2003 351 1,641 4.7 8
Barry Sanders, Detroit 1991 342 1,548 4.5 16
Steven Jackson, St. Louis 2006 346 1,528 4.4 13
*LeSean McCoy, Eagles 2011 280 1,517 5.4 16
* – projected
gonna be a hell of a RB battle in a coupole of weeks.
Forte is on a pace to have 1,536 rushing yards and 958 recieving yards for a total of 2494 which btw, would be just 15 yards behind the single season record.
It's what we've all been waiting for Dream Team vs. America's Team...an enormous matchup between 2 mediocre squads.
Maybe their records are mediocre but I think both teams are good(dal and phi are both ranked in the top ten in total offense and defense). They both have away games in the fourth. This should be a good matchup. Cowboys run d is awesome and should slow down McCoy in his third season!
Can't wait. Who wants to bet? I have a pj backpack up for grabs!

don't care what the stats say this eagles defense blows.
guys on pace for most rushing yards in franchise history yet team is 2-4. interesting.
andy reid is like 9-2 coming off a bye week. i expect the Eagles to win the game.

but Forte is in his 4th season.
that should be fun...hopefully both teams will still be using their rb's then
gas was .89 cents a gallon when he started here :x
Yeah, that is insane.
it's actually, literally, the definition of insanity.
hmmm...our definitions of insanity are a little different. Mine would be:
Insanity - The idea of letting Jerry Jones handle the majority of your decision-making while sitting in a green room and continually trying to keep players to prove they aren't a bust.

that's big red's boy. reno mahe had no business sniffing a nfl roster, yet reid had him as our punt returner and backup rb for about 5 years. he was the worst.

The one 'nobody' on the list. Had a career year and that year was his career.

take away the 4th qtr and dallas might be leading the nfl in defense. :P
Exactly my point about both teams. Good squads that can't finish..

the way i see it, eagles can't lost another division game so it's basically a playoff game for them. should be a good one
It looks like he is 11-0 after a bye since 2000, unless the following list is incorrect...
Eagles off bye week since 2000:
2000 – W – Bengals, 16-7
2001 – W – Giants, 10-9
2002 – W – Buccaneers, 20-10
2003 – W – Bills, 23-13
2004 – W – Panthers, 30-8
2005 – W – Chargers, 20-17
2006 – W – Redskins, 27-3
2007 – W – Jets, 16-9
2008 – W – Falcons, 27-13
2009 – W Buccaneeers, 33-14
2010 – W – Colts, 26-24
11-0 equals bet dallas....
yes, andy reid has been here for t h i r t e e n y e a r s

thanks i was doing it off the top of my head and thought they lost at least once in the past few years coming off the bye. 12-0 is pretty crazy.
are eagles fans blaming him for the gas prices now?
Yeah, that is insane.
they were also coming off a 3-13 record and a combined 9-22-1 record from the previous 2 years.

now he's stealing gas...
must win bump...
Good luck!
-3.5 point favorites....think your team needs more of it.
either way, thanks!
I should be worried since Vegas hands out W's nowadays
Hopefully, we will get a good game and not a Cowboys blowout
of course not. but everyone knows home favorites win outright a lot more often than they lose. especially when the coach is 12-0 coming off a bye.
should be a good one.
Yeah, I'm pumped for the game. I might be in Philly visiting friends for it. Are you going?
yes. season tickets. the juggler will be in attendance for this one.
I always love going to games around Halloween. It brings out some strange folks
