    he's a decent player.

Yeah, he wasn't part of the big problem the Cubs have. Oh, and the prospects they got for him aren't doing much of anything in the minors. Awesome! :? :x

    Dear Cubs,
Thank you for really sucking against us the last two nights, but fuck you for your shitty SS bobbling the ball and inadvertantly jacking up Ricky Weeks. In return I'd like to redeem my groupon for Alphonso Soriano where you pay all the money on his contract while he "plays" second base for us in the meantime (I'm not even sure if that's possible but I'd rather than than trade for Clint Fucking Barmes). Oh, and please keep the sucking up for one more day.

    Thanks,

    Dear RW,

Castro is a HOF'er in the making. He is a brilliant at the plate and in the field.

In all honesty how many winning seasons will Starlin Castro be a part of? More or less than Nyjer Morgan?

who knows.....will castro get traded to the yankee's? will morgan get moved to the diamond backs?

if you assume they both stay on their current teams..in the next 10 years, i'd say 3 for casto and 2 for morgan.

    Hahaha, you're probably right.
Just think if Maddux didn't pitch all of those years for the Cubs...how many wins he'd have?

The throw had plenty to do with it, but had Weeks went twoards the outside of 1B along the foul line instead of the inside corner he probably wouldn't have collided with Pena.

It's always cool to see someone's first career home run in person. Just off the top of my head, I've seen Cameron Maybin, David Murphy, Dan Murphy and John Mayberry Jr's first career home run in person.

Not sure if I've seen anyones first career HR, but I did see Bobby Hill's debut!! In the words of Lee Elia the Cubs are "fucking hotter than shit" and 81 would not be part of the "85% of the world that works", ha!

Carlos Zambrano went on the offensive Monday, filing a grievance through the players union for his 30-day stint on the disqualified list and telling Comcast SportsNet he doesn't "understand" general manager Jim Hendry's harsh disciplinary action.

"He's always been good to me, but this one, it makes me sad," he told CSN's David Kaplan on "Chicago Tribune Live."

Agreed. I am sure there was a collective sigh of relief from Cubs fans.
