Will the cubbies still suck the first friday of september? I mean they WILL be playing the pirates that day. I figure its a toss up.

It appears I might be taking in the game that day.

Pirates could be a playoff contender. Cubs, not so much.

Should the throw have been better, yes, but if Votto could play 1st he would have scooped it no problem. I'll blame Votto just cause he's from Cinci, right Speedy?

i about fell off the couch when it happened. you knew it was coming as we was winding up to throw. i think he is starting to think about his throws before throwing. once you start doing that, you're fucked.

hmmm...what do you think, a castro E meter sign for at the game

Ha. I'm actually going on Tuesday night....don't ask me why. Free tickets in really good seats and at least I'll get to see the Phillies play. I was hoping to see Halladay...I gotta figure out who is starting for the Phils on Tuesday.

Lee is going tuesday. we lucked out with the pitching matchups

depending on a few things, i might try and trade to get on the first base side and closer to the dugout...or homeplate

Lee is massively entertaining to watch for a pitcher. He has such an awesome carefree demeanor. I love when the batter is arguing the 3rd strike and Lee's already in the dugout.

Halladay is just impressive. You almost feel bad for the hitters.

The Phillies announcers repeatedly said that throughout the evening as well.

I went to bed, and woke up this morning to a very surprising victory. :D
