Thats why we are doing sunday, the Friday game is close to $400 a person. I don't mind spending that on a weekend like this. I have only been to Wrigley as a kid and the Yanks never play there so it is an experience I can't do often. Plus part of this is going to be a birthday present, I believe.

Edit: And with the open bar, I will most definitely be getting my $200 worth.

I've heard the rooftops SUCK as far as watching the game goes. You're just too damn far away from the action.

Yeah, I would imagine it's not the best to be into every pitch, but to have the game at a distance and just hang out and watch it, I think would be a great time.

everybody says that, but considering you can get a can of beer for a buck at the grocery store, i doubt you will drink your 200 worth.

but as long as you know what you are getting in to, and it soudns like you do, have a great time and don't puke on to many cubs fans.

i aslo recommend checking out hte AC nubmer sign on the one rooftop. if you don't get what it means, i'm sure one of the many friendly cubs fans would be more than happy to help you out.

Well I was more comparing it to buying a ticket then beers in the stadium which in that case I will get my $200 worth on the rooftop

Yeah, man. Going to be a good time, no puking on anymore for me. I can hold my own.

Not sure I want to look into this....

GREAT GREAT NEWS!! There's still a lot of improvements this team and organization needs to make, but for once it's nice to see them make a decision based on performance, not pay. I'm glad the fat lazy Silva got cut. He pitched like crap the last half of last year and this spring. I thought they wouldn't cut him because he's owed $11 mil this year. It's finally nice to see that pay doesn't matter, perform or get out. This is long overdue for this franchise.

you'd have better odds of surving a jump from the top of the willis tower than a cubs victory in the final game o the world series this year.

    Big Z going today...huh???

Lets see if he can make it through 5 innings without punching a teamate, going off on an umpire, Destroying the gatorade cooler, walking 10 batters, and playing with his crotch 1,343,935 times between every pitch.....

Sorry about that last one....But its the truth...Big Z cant seem to keep his hands off little Z......hehehehe

bucko's should have swept the cubs. 8th inning meltdown on sat ruined that.

I don't know about that... they had yesterday's game wrapped up until Marmol went for the close and couldn't throw a pitch within 10 feet of the plate.

But yeah... yesterday was probably the only chance they had at being >.500 this year.

Off to the games at "Wrigley North" tonight and tomorrow. Glad I'm not going Sunday. Not interested in watching AAA callup Casey Coleman go against Gallardo. I think Wells and Cashner need to man up and pitch. You are "sore" you just pitched and don't have to again for at least 5 days, tape it up!
