WOW! Doubt anyone is watching the game tonight but they just advertised the Cubs are offering a $40 for 4 tickets, 4 dogs and 4 soda deal for ALL April and May games. Unbelievable. I do love it though and I still won't go. It's nice that the fans have said a big "fuck you" to the Ricketts family and their highest priced tickets for a far below average MLB team. First beer now being sold through the 8th inning and now this, they have to be selling next to no tickets. I couldn't be happier that the Ricketts are getting screwed. They think they can drop $900 mil on a team and get the investment back overnight. It doesn't work that way. They should invest more time analyzing players then their ticket buying patterns which they "thouroughly" analized with their insane tiered pricing bull shit.

The Tommy Ricketts is a member of my parish, and you would not believe the pub he gets. I swear, they said a Sunday Mass in his honor, haha. They commend him for his generosity, when all he does is sell tix for face value to the parish...It's bullshit. Even though my heart and attention are for the SouthSide, I still want the cubs to be competitive. Makes it a fun/interesting summer. So I must say, I am happy to see Cubs fans finally making a statement (at least I hope that's what's going on).
