at this point a monkey could play drums, looking forward to kim and chris jamming out
but i would like to see matt on drums, if it doesnt affect pearl jam
what a retarded statement.. matt's drumming in soundgarden isn't some boring ass generic drumming anyone can pull off.. its some serious stuff and if its not him drumming then its not going to be too great.
There've been a few posters worried about CC's live vocals, as I said a few pages back and as Spin.. said a couple back - on his 2007 solo tour his vocals were the best I've ever heard live of ANY singer, so he either had a good day or he's maturing nicely. So don't fret.

Yeah i saw him 2x in 2009 and 3x time 2007 and from bootlegs etc he is just getting better and better.

The key on his solo stint was they finally turned up his vocals so he doesn'ty have to scream over the rest of the band..(aka SG and Audioslave... everyone had equal amps)
If you have ever seen U2 in concert, you'll recognize that Bono's voice is amplified louder than the rest of the band..
Keeps these crooners from ruining their voice..

I don't get why people still see Matt as "the new guy" He's been in the band longer than any other drummer (a full 11 out of 19 years) and before Boom was a member...so given that info, i think it's incredibly safe to say that Matt isn't a temp...so as for who will drum if SG reuinites (though HIGHLY unlikely) it would be when PJ isn't touring or they tour together so Matt can play both

If Soundgarden tours with Pearl Jam, PJ should bring along Krusen as a bench warmer - for the sake of Matt's health. (Then again, if one person could play two killer shows in one night, for an entire tour, and survive, it would be Matt!) Matt plays with Soundgarden, as well as the main Pearl Jam set, and Krusen plays the Ten-centric encores. It would be cool to hear Krusen's take on non-Ten material, too.
It's been about twenty years, so let's have the original Mookie Blaylock band for the encore!
If pj brings a replacement drummer I hope it is Dave A. He is apparently still good friends with the many pj members. Would be super interesting to see how the band would sound with Dave A again. Dave A and Matt C also seem to have HUGE respect for each other.

Ha, I didn't notice that this thread was merged with a different one...there have been a couple of threads on the first page notating their reunion these past couple of days, though.
"...Soundgarden are plotting a tour for 2010. And that's not all: according to Billboard, Soundgarden are also in negotiations to perform at several major U.S. and international festivals.
The tour will be planned around Cameron's duties with Pearl Jam, who have live concerts scheduled for spring and summer 2010. No word yet if the band plans to record new material, but Cornell has long discussed a greatest hits album and/or a new boxed set, which would include never-before-heard studio material."
Not sure how much of that is hearsay though..

Got my fingers crossed for Hard Rock Calling, it would be pretty tough on Matt, but the guy is a fucking machine. Imagine if they did play with Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam Soundgarden and some Temple Of The Dog songs, it would be my dream show pretty much.
Hope they manage to sort out slots at HRC and Werchter!

Since Soundgarden is on everyone's mind, I gotta ask, does anyone know where to find good Soundgarden soundboards? I could never find any good SG boots.

I guess there's not many around...tried to find some maybe 10 years back, could only find great audience recordings. I'd love to get an SBD recording from 96/96 tour.
