  • Typical Cornell looking for a quick buck. With the aweful timberland album not shifting much he's come running back to Kim matt and ben, ill look forward to it but ive lost so much respect for chris.

er, hasn't it at least crossed someone's mind that they might have a different drummer? Soundgarden back doesn't guarantee Matt's with them.

Or, if this is true and there is some touring, time it right and Matt can do both.

They all have their side projects which don't seem to interfere with PJ. Soundgarden can be Matt's

cant they just be doing it because they want to play that incredible music again? some people need to piss all over everything.

yeah, and sometimes they are just never satisfied..
  • I can't wait to see these guys LIVE!
As far as the drumming situation goes, IMHO you can't have Soundgarden w/o Matt.
And for all the Chris Cornell bashers out there, I'll grant you his last album sucked, and as a Zack de la Rocha substitute, well .. that was just wrong. But we saw him in Chicago at the Riviera last April and his live show was VERY VERY good! He's still got the voice.
    This is gonna be GREAT!
Wrigley Field (Chicago) 7/19/13, Pacific Coliseum (Vancouver) 9/25/11, ScottTrade Center (St. Louis) 5/4/10, Sprint Center (KC) 5/3/10, Wachovia Spectrum Arena (Philadelphia) - 10/31/09, Key Arena (Seattle) - 9/22/09, Key Arena (Seattle) - 9/21/09, United Center (Chicago) - 8/24/09, United Center (Chicago) - 8/23/09, Colonial Center (Columbia, SC) - 6/16/08, The Vic Theatre (Chicago) - 8/02/07, Pepsi Center (Denver) - 7/02/06

Actually come to think of it, I just might be a puddle full of detriment.

yeah i def agree, matt plays a huuuge role in soundgarden...you really cant have anyone replicate that genius.. that offbeat weird time signature slaying of the drums.

but matt HAS to have his ayotte kit as well.. none of this shit sounding yamaha crap.

Now we know why the PJ tour was scrapped.
  • People... this was annouced through Pearl Jam's official sites, that wouldn't have happened were Matt, a member of Pearl Jam, not involved. He will be with them.
